I am in awe here.....Look I am a very libertarian person but I cannot for the life of me figure out why we even have carry on bags anymore! Why don't the airlines just pass a new rule that says every bag needs to be checked and carry on bags will no longer be accepted (with special exemptions for medications, baby things etc of course)....Because jeez, god forbid we Americans arent able to carry all of our stupid s*** on the plane with us....Carry on bags are the single reason that airport security is long, frustrating, and intolerable. Think how efficent the airlines could be!

Michigan Compiled Laws 257.710e lists people who don't have to wear safety belts including commercial vehicles that make frequent stops. Does this include taxi drivers and tow truck drivers (i.e. wreckers) and UPS drivers? Anybody else not have to wear a seat belt?

Obviously, presidents from the past 50 years have been unconstitutionally violating Congress's war declaration powers by simply calling the war something else, like a "conflict," a "peace-keeping mission," or whatever.
THE GREATEST THREAT TO THIS COUNTRY IS CONSOLIDATION OF POLITICAL POWER IN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH. Maybe Congress should be drafting some laws to fight it.

in our first fight for freedom, it was a novelty to most, now its how many western countries govern themselves, and while the rest of the world climbed up and became better, we here in the usa seem to become stagnant. we sat quetly by as the government grew more and more, and we as citizens demand so much, not totally realized where that governemtn aid check comes from. we have freedom, sweet freedom to say and do what we want, and we it use to rage and chastise the rest of the world, then act like victims on 9/11 when the world spoke back. it was a wake up call, but no one woke up. we cant keep hitting the snooze button, too many people have died for this, and we owe it to our children. we need to change our attitudes before we can expect our society to change. now that a large percentage of the world is free, us being free is not enough. i say we start a webpage or something to get the word out. we can fix this together "bipartisan". whose with me???.

These are the people who get paid to be corrupt, wage wars, wreck lives and destroy peace in general.
Do you think planet earth will get past this phase..to a system where the likes/dislikes of all men will influence any decision concerning them?
For example: Whether or not abortion is legal will still be decided by vote..except that these votes will be accounted direct from the voter to a transparent executive machinery...without any so called "Politicians" in between. I hope you understand...what i'm trying to convey!

If one believes both sides are corrupt and controlled by big money and special interests, is it possible that by perpetuating discord between the two they are preventing us from forming a united front that would be able to wrest control from them and put it into the hands of the people?
