I think that the Iraqis should run and defend their own country. Then if they want to divide or hang together would be up to them.

It's not a matter of "allowing" anything. The only thing that was holding that country together was Saddam Hussein and his brutal Guard. The separate religious factions have been warring against each other for centurys.
What we did was loose the tiger. We cannot do anything now in that country. They will war against each other, kill each other, terrorize each other until another dictator is powerful enough to seize power and, once again, brutalize the country into submission.
Iraq will do what they have always done. That is why we need to leave; we are not going to stop it, we can't prevent it, they don't want us there. The only thing that is happening now is our soldiers are being killed, other countries are now providing chemical and other weapons to the insurgents, and the slaughter is increasing.
Bush should be tried for crimes against humanity. It took Saddam 32 years to murder 380,000 Iraqis.... It has only taken Bush 4 years to murder 100,000 plus. I ask you, who is the terrorist.

even though I'm not excited about polls, I read one this morning that said close to 70% of the people of Iraq want Iraq to remain a United country. So what I think really doesn't matter.

Not a bad idea at all.
What do you think for grouping?
Kurds, Sunis, Shiites?
However, I do not think it will happen. There is too much money invested in breaking the country up for global interests.
The people are demoralized and in total confusion, chaos rules. They are being primed for genocide and military takeover as one nation eventually. First they are being allowed to kill themselves off and exhaust the nation to its core.
"When nations get disappointed on their governments, the population will start to clamor for a singular Government that can bring peace and harmony. This will be the moment to enthrone our sovereign" - Member of the Illuminati -
This is what has been going on for the past few hundred years but now in Iraq and the Middle eastern arena.

nicely i'm ashamed to declare, its us Brits lower back that could desire to respond to to distinctive the international's problems immediately. the middle east is with the aid of us, giving Palestine to the jews in 1948. As u say Iraq too. Imperialism has lots to respond to for and all i will work out is that usa is turning out to be the Imperialists now.

Why not separate states with strong central government. Something that would allow Puritans to secure themselves in one area, Quakers in another, and nonreligious in another.
