Because the cost of production is very low in china
This is because of mainly four reasons
1) Availability of raw material at cheaper cost
2) Cheap and good labour is available.
3) Good Infrastructure.
4) Government Investment Policies
The working efficiency of Chinese labour is great, they slog like any thing, whereas Indian Labours they go more on strike, puts more demand and want pay without working.
Also working conditions in china are good un like Indian, most of the industrialists here in are interested in heavy loans from Banks/financial instituted and then want to be declared as bankrupt and they run with the money.
China has good Infrastructure that supports and facilitate the industrialisation, good means of transportation with good road, rail and air connectivity facilitate easy transportation of raw and furnished material.

More Over Government policies for Foreign Investment Plays very important role and it also supports the investors in china.
