I been to Vietnam before and it not dangerous expect just leave your valuable at home and leave jewelry at home also you don't want to wear it and don't eat any chicken, duck and etc. Don't drink from any river or lake.

War has been over for 30 years..just as safe as any other 3rd world jungle country...
Petty crimes are the worst...thefts, pickpokets, drugs, prostitution....
It is a beautiful country and the residents are friendly...they love American $$$$$$

No it's not. They adore outsider because they have money to spend. A lot of prostitution and you can get naked massages from females. Got laid one night with 4 girls.
