The prices arrive from many multiple oil companies Ex/Mob, Texaco, Shell, BP giving political donations, giving kickbacks to American motor companies. These American companies get paid good money to make sure your vehicles don't get great gas mileage. You take a 1.6 Chevy engine compare it to a Toyota 1.6 and you'll see some differences.
Chevy 1.6= 22-27 MPG, Toyota 1.6= 40-53
The president owns oil distribution plants, along with many other government leaders. Its very sad when this country is owned by money and its influences on the American economy. Very very upsetting

Ever heard of spring time? Ever heard of a Boutiqe fuel? Every year at this time the gas prices escalate. You can thank your environmental wackos for that one. Each spring oil companies have to purge their lines of winter fuel and go to a different formulation. This process alone will increase gas prices by as much as .25 a gallon.

Illinois and Chicago have as many as 11 different formulations of gas for the regions.

No new refineries built since 1976. No new exploration allowed in United States or Gulf of Mexico and yet, Mexico is drilling new wells, China is drilling new wells, Cuba is drilling new wells, Chavez is drilling new wells and all in the Gulf of Mexico. Anwar shut down and the list goes on. If I were you, I would be looking at your local tree hugger and asking them why the increase of price and second, if I were you, spend a little time doing a little research!

OPEC dictate the price of oil per barrel. But there are several
other product you can get from oil, gas, engine oil, bio fuel and the list goes on and on.
Now the people that set the price of oil in each country is the oil company, but their decision is base on cost of production and most importantly the GOVERNMENT. Bush has to pay for the billions of dollars spent a week in the ongoing wars. We are all paying for his war. Believe that. COLD FACT.
Rogue.

The price of gas has to do with how much it is being sold per barrel. Gas is a fossil fuel and we are running out of it. The less gas there is, the more expensive it becomes.
