It depends on which state your sending the dog. How old the god is. And will someone be traveling on the aircraft with the dog?

Cite papers need to come from a licensed vet or the port of authority vet in France. As the vet will need to look at the dog. Cite papers certify the dog is in good health and has been vaccinated for rabies.

If the dog is traveling alone tape a copy of the papers to the dogs crate. Give one copy to the France airline when the dog is checked in. And have the originals sent to you when you pick up the dog. Have your vet sign an additional one so another original just in case you need to send it somewhere else.

You will need pedigree documents, proof of ownership of the animal and vaccination certificates. You can get these in France. You also need a carrier/cage of a specific size and type to humanely transport the animal overseas. All airlines charge a fee for transporting an animal, and you should get in touch with the airline to find out what it is. It is normally payable in cash at the airport check-in.

In fact, the airline should be able to tell you all the requirements.
