During the Bush Adminstration going amuck...a lot of conservatives thought it was a good idea for the government to monitor phone calls, library books, and internet usage without probable cause and warrants. Were Conservatives so scared of the BOOGIE MAN they were so willing to give up some of our liberties?

Being a long term tenant(4 years), while out of town for the night I came home to find my front window broken and I had been robbed. Even if i had renter's insurance which I didnt, wouldnt my landlords homeowner's insurance cover this? If I myself had broken the window under different circumstances I would take full reponsibilty but I had nothing to do with someone breaking the window.............my landlords made no attempt nor offer to fix it so the repair came out of my pocket can they do this?

It drives me crazy when people bash those who are critical of our very deserving (IMHO) leaders, calling them traitors, etc.. Do you know what would happen if we all marched in line behind the Bush administration?

"We are grateful to the Wahington Post, The NY Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But now the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world Gov't. The supra national soverignty of an intellectual elite an world bankers is surelt prefferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries". --
David Rockefeller, CFR, Private Banker- June 1991

By any measure this has to be seen as a serious threat to America's soverignty

MEXICO CITY — Mexico has sent a diplomatic note to the United States objecting to an alleged incursion into Mexican territory by U.S. Border Patrol agents trying to extinguish a fire, the country's Foreign Relations Department said Tuesday.

The incursion allegedly took place on Monday, as Border Patrol agents stationed in Sonoita, Arizona, were trying to quash a brush fire on the U.S. side that quickly spread into Mexico, the department said.

The Foreign Relations Department said it was notified of the incident on Tuesday by the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, which reported that the border agents immediately returned to their side of the border after the fire was out.

The Embassy did not release a public statement Tuesday.

"The Foreign Relations Department has expressed to the U.S. Embassy via a diplomatic note, its rejection of the incursion," the Mexican government's news release said.

"While the department recognizes that the incursion may have been a response to an attempt to deal with an emergency, as the U.S. Embassy states, it has reiterated ... that even during emergency situations, it is required, without exception, to immediately notify the Mexican authorities."

The complaint comes on the heels of another alleged border incursion late last month, when U.S. workers erecting border fences between Douglas, Arizona, and the Mexican border city of Agua Prieta, allegedly crossed about 10 meters (yards) into Mexico.

At that time, U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Tony Garza issued a statement promising to look into the incident and asserting that the United States "has the deepest respect for the integrity of the sovereignty of Mexican soil and for the importance of the border shared by our two countries."

I live in NC, and have filed papers through Child Support Enforcement for over a year, and even gave them his current address, but when I call the state he lives in, they say they have nothing on the case! It is now well over $40,000 that is owed. Is there any place else I can try that will not cost me? I'm too strapped to pay legal bills.

Does anyone have any advice?I need more points to make. This is it so far:::
There are varying reasons for a woman to get an abortion, some more ethical or urgent than others. It can be difficult for a woman to be told that she cannot get an abortion or that it is illegal, and even the most intelligent and experienced doctor may not know what’s best for a pregnant mother. Therefore, abortion should be a woman’s decision.
The constitution states that all people have equal rights; so all women should have the right to choose whether they would like an abortion or not. Only the pregnant mother knows best what she wants to be done on her body, and what decision is right for her and the unborn child.
Denying women access to medical services that let them control their fertility or end a dangerous pregnancy is unjust. A woman disallowed an abortion can be affected emotionally. This is not always true, however if women had the right to decide whether an abortion should be done on them or not, this wouldn’t be an issue.
Most abortions that are done by doctors are well practiced and safe. It is unreasonable for someone to say a woman is not making the right decision by having an abortion because they are not safe. Still, the process doesn’t always go perfectly and there can be issues and complications.

Do you think the U.S. is ready to deal with a white female president or a balck male president? Personally I would vote for Obama because for one, I think it's about time we had an African American president. I mean he knows what people go through with poverty and racism. On the other hand Clinton is too pro everything, in war you can't be on both sides and I don't think her husband had such a great influence on the U.S.
What do u think?
