I heard about a full body system that gave soldiers the ability to send messages to one another, have gun cameras and with these cameras can forward images in real time to command or shoot around corners. does anyone know any more details about the equipment and/or when it will be implemented?

Last weekend some friends and I were driving home.. the driver parked the car and we were all walking inside... as the driver was unlocking the door a police officer rolled up and said "Hey, you going into the apartment, come here I need to talk to you"... so my friend went and talked to him, initially he said my friend had been speeding, he asked if he was the owner of the car and he said yes. At this time no one could hear what was going on and my friend began doing sobriety tests (we had been drinking). Anyway, he ended up arresting my friend and taking him to jail. My friend refused a breathalyzer then and later in jail. So my question is do any of you have any experience with this, similar situations or know CAN a cop arrest you for a DUI if he didn't see you driving. Technically, the cop pulled up afterwards and seven of us got out of the car so there is no way he really knows who was driving. Thanks! Any input would be helpful!

(I understand consevatives if you can't answer this one because I think you might explode trying to come up with something. I mean it's almost like if you were being forced to vote for Bill Clinton).

Fair US (a pro-borders group) says the following:
http://www.fairus.org/site/PageServer?pagename=iic_immigrationissuecenters3c6a

"The most recent estimate of the INS is that about 40 percent of the nine to eleven million illegal alien residents in the United States originally entered the country with nonimmigrant visas."

Shouldn't "border security" also include Visa violators?
Why not?

Could we pass any bipartisan legislation that pretends to advance socialism, but instead just exists on paper? This could keep the libs happy, and our nation better off. Takers?

PETA sent the letter this morning telling Al that animals produce more green houses gases than all cars and trucks combined and that he would cut down on his contribution to global warming if he goes vegatarian.

I guess this spawns another question? can he just buy offsets from vegans?

It really ticks me off that so many women keep having kids they can't afford. They get free rent or very cheap, food stamps, wic, their cars fixed, help with their electric bills and such. They even get checks every month, so all they do is sit at home and keep on popping out kids. I think it is rediculous and the gov't should only allow this for maybe a year. Tax payers are basically paying for their children. Why do they allow this?!

The fact the military draft is not in effect is insane- Our troops are stretched out thin, we need more soldiers, and this war may last a long time, if it spreads to Iran.
Not having the draft makes NOO sense. Detractors of the draft says it produces inferior quality soldiers. thats crap- for one its an insult to the many soldiers who fought for this country who were drafted. Plus it seems the Army has already lowered standards as is to accept new recruits (raising age cutoff, accepting people with rap sheets, ect). So the argument that the quality of people brought in via the draft wouldnt be good is flat wrong. And to be blunt- freedom isnt free- i think every American should serve thier country if they want to enjoy the freedoms of being American. I get tired of americans who have never served who think America owes them somthing. Not having the draft in time of war makes NO sense...
