Stop whining and join the Army or the Marine Corps. The way out is through victory. If we don't succeed in Iraq, we will have to fight in even more places.

Not trying to be difficult, I swear I'm not, but why isn't this a justified war? Saddam signed treaties and a cease-fire with us after the Gulf War, and he violated BOTH repeatedly. Why didn't that alone justify us going back in?

As to what you can do to make a difference, vote. But please - don't write to your representatives to cut funding to the troops. It's not their fault - they are doing their jobs. Regardless of what we think about the war, the troops still deserve our respect. It's because of the sacrifices our military has made on our behalf for the past 230+ years that have given us the freedom and the right to sit here and complain. We are very damned fortunate in this country - there are far too many places on this earth where dissent will get you killed.

Have a great night.

Encourage all of your family and friends to cut up their credit cards, cancel all travel plans/vacations, and refuse to buy gasoline for one week. What everyone is forgetting is that this seller/consumer formula can be manipulated from the consumer side. WE are causing this war of greed and profit. WE are driving the madness. It is a LIE that the economy would suffer if people protested economically. The ONLY people who would suffer are those who are plundering and using terrorism for profit. The economy will go on. The question is, who do you want to be in control of it, an elite or the consumer?

your words mean nothing no matter what you do or say our goverment doesn't care about what we the people have to say on anything, it's funny how presidents say we the people of the United State want to do this or that. Since when did my dad ever have someone from our goverment knock at the door and ask what he felt about this or that war.. Never & It'll NEVER happen you can vote no on war and their will still be one so what you might think you can do to stop this wont help

The government of Iraq needs to go after all who cause violence and bloodshed. No matter what group they belong to. They have to be equal about it. Iran and Syria need to help by not sending any more "diplomats" over with their equipment. Iraq deserves the chance to be the shining light of the middle east. The whole world will benefit from it.

Go to Iraq and run out in the street and yell for them to stop, and see how long it takes for someone to chop your head off and hand it to you.

I bet you are not really that brave are you.

You can sit behind your computer and cry like a little sissy, but in reality you are a coward.

Send a letter to your senator, representaive, and govenor. Keep on doing that. Also voting is numero uno. And protest. Join a organization that fights your cause.

Contact your congress critters here:

Call them up, and speak to the aids, tell them (politely) how you feel, why, what your facts are, and ask what your representitive will do about it? Also, write a HAND WRITTEN letter -- they get MUCH more attention than emails and phone calls. Believe it or not, the public officials are very sensitive to what their constituents are feeling....they do want to keep that job you know!!! :-)
