Could we pass any bipartisan legislation that pretends to advance socialism, but instead just exists on paper? This could keep the libs happy, and our nation better off. Takers?

No way. Libs are ONLY happy when they are throwing money at some perceived problem. Note: They NEVER throw their money at problems, always someone else's money.
They are ONLY happy if legislation requires spending money. The main reason for this, is that it is harder to surrender if you have a military. They figure that if they bankrupt the country, do away with the military, and destroy the economy, then they can impose communism upon the USA. Never mind that communism has never worked, even though it has been tried again and again. It is a sign of mental illness to keep doing the same experiment and expecting different results!

i don't know if you know how to read, or if you are aware of current events. liberals in the US support democracy, NOT socialism, if you know what that even is. to answer you question, the best way is to have bush step down. that would make my day.
