It depends on their specialty, and their position within a firm, etc. anywhere from $25/hr to $600/hr. Now, it's anywhere from $100/hr to $925/hr.

Less then they make now, but more then you and I can charge for work we don't have to grantee the out come on, but still get paid for doing.
I build houses, if I did a bum job, I wouldn't get paid, doctors and lawyers can, and still go play golf on Wednesday, with a check in their hand.
I'm not saying their not good people, don't work hard, and go through a lot of tough schooling, or they're not necessary. But, having said all that, in the scheme of things, as long as they don't get too greedy...they sort 'a got it knocked.

Just like today they would take you for everything your worth.

In the 60's that might include a drab yellow, or mint green house and a vega, or pinto in the garage!
