Nelson Mandela was backed by the same communist that backed M,L.K, Joseph Lowery,tu tu, Fidel Castro,Robert McGavey, the list is endless, and our government backed all of these people Nelson Mandela went to prison because he was trying to over throw the South African government by force, he was caught making bombs and supplying weapons to the terrorist in S,A, our own F,B,I, gave the information to the S,A, government so they could catch him , then our gov, along with almost all of the western nations boycotted S,A and made them turn power over to the blacks, knowing what would happen ,Plezurgu is right about every thing he said except S,A is starving now just like Rhodesia where Robert McGavey either kill led or ran all of the whites out and gave their farms to blacks, then they were starving , McGavey contacted some of the white farmers and made a deal for them to come back and the would give their farms back and capital for start up, as the blacks could not make the farms produce, a lot of whites came back ,once they got the farms going (GUESS WHAT) they started killing the whites again, and taking their farms back from them again, they will be starving again soon,and of course the U,S, will give them our food and let our people go hungry,so who the hell is our elected representives for ??? it damn sure is not the ones who elected them.and put them on easy street,

The people of South Africa created such a prosperous country, that immigrants from all over southern Africa came there looking for a better life. The government refused to allow black people to vote. The black people started a terrorist war to gain control of the country. Nelson Mandela was a terrorist. The South African government caught him making bombs. He was convicted and sentenced to prison.
In the mean time, pretty much the entire world isolated the Republic of South Africa. They cut off trade and never passed up an opportunity to ridicule and deride the government. Eventually, the white government gave in, released Mandela from prison and allowed black people to vote. Mandela was a hero for spending so many years in prison.
Now, instead of a white racist government, they have a black racist government. Their economy is down the drain and crime is up sky high. Much like Zimbabwe, South Africa used to export great quantities of food to the rest of Africa. They still do, but that is going down hill and the black racist government is planning to take the productive farms away from the white people so more blacks can starve. Makes sense to me.
