So...Ford had to be politics before he can be a Vice Prsedent or Presedent....So, what was he...Senate? What?!

Gerald R. Ford, the 38th President of the United States was a U.S. Congressman of Michigan from 1948 to 1973. He was picked by President Nixon to be Vice President and was sworn in to the office Of the President in August 1974 after Nixon resigned as President. Ford was never elected as President or Vice president.

Ford was a great man...He was a guy that didn't have a need for political handlers. He never took a poll before giving his opinion right or wrong it was his voice speaking for him. To Ford's credit...he was one of the few to beat Regan politically, he kicked butt playing football for Michigan, him and his wife saved half of Hollywood from their own drug addictions with their clinic, and he was drawn in an episode of the Simpson's. Not bad for one lifetime.
