don't take prisoners in holy war until you have killed many - then it is okay to take some prisoners but you must collect a tax from them and force them to accept your religion

Illegal-
1. forbidden by law or statute.
2. contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.: The referee ruled that it was an illegal forward pass.

Why do people think there is an excuse to come here illegally? And why do some people think that they should be allowed to stay? I dont understand what people dont get about it.

Its illegal. Just like murder, public intoxication, drunk driving, speeding.

When the DKM Bismark went out on her fateful cruise, she sung the HMS Hood with one very well placed shot. A combination of bad design on the Hoods part and good luck on the Bismarks side. However after that initial engagement what happened to the Bismarks gunnery, it seems to have been totally ineffective after that.

unless of course you only focus on his skin color. this man is extremely intelligent, very charasmatic, a tremendous speaker, well-rounded, high morals, and a very compentant leader. his followers in illinois love him. he truly is a likeable man who can easily win an election.

and dont give me the muslim thing and all that mess which has proved to be false over and over again. and he may not have that much washington experience, but thats what we need. he said it best himself when he said that he may not have know the ways of washington very much, but he has been there long enough to know that the way washington is running is not working. we need on outsider who hasnt been tainted by lobbyists and support groups.

im not even asking if you would vote for him. im just asking if conservatives will admit that he really is a good candidate and a good person who could make a good president.

Presently, Bush's popularity is not doing well after there have been about 3K soldiers dead. In Lincoln's time, 680,000 soldiers were killed. The US population was a lot smaller. There must have been hardships galore in the homes of widows and labor shortages, the economy couldn't have been good. I'll bet there were quite a few who wanted him assasinated. Yet, I was always taught that he was such a great man. The US must have been a total mess back then.

They don't want to spend the money to properly treat them.

i define liberal democracy as a system with constraints on rulers/officerholders, checks and balances, civil liberties etc-

i define minimalist democracy as a system with free, competitive, frequent elections where the electorate decides who to choose as a leader, and then leaves most decision making power to teh leader, to be their representative

i know the obvious answer for most americans is that liberal democracy is much better, but im looking for a different perspective to show some of the flaws to the former as opposed to the latter...


and why liberal democracy might not work in some countries and minimalist democracy might...

It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973.
