They don't want to spend the money to properly treat them.
They are all for supporting the troops as long as they are over there fighting for George's profits, and they have the common decency to die , and not come back and cost them money with health care.

I read that one of the things Bush has cut in his budget is money for veterans hospitals. Bethesda Naval Hospital doesn't seem to need budget cuts with all the rats, roaches, trading of drugs etc. But somehow we have to pay for Georgie's little war without raising taxes. What will he go after next?

When Al Gore was a presidential candidate, someone asked him why there hadn't been a pay raise for troops during the Clinton administration. His response was, "We'll have to take a look at that."

His administration already had 7 years to look at it, yet it was still apparently a problem!

So the other side of the aisle is also guilty of not paying the rank and file soldier what he/she deserves. This is unfortunate on both sides. Just because your average corporal doesn't have a lot of political clout or some sort of foot-soldier lobby to advocate for him doesn't mean that he deserves any less. I hold anyone in either party who doesn't give them their just due in contempt.

You hit the nail on the head when you said "they are over there fighting for Bush's profits". This means that they have already served their purpose to the Conservatives. Now that these veterans are injured or disabled and can't fill the Conservatives coffers anymore, the Conservatives just want to forget about them.

You know ed-mike, you have now shown me how full of crap you really are. Let me fill in a blank or two for you, Kool-Aide drinker!

I am a war vet, medically retired after Desert Storm. I have had NO PROBLEMS with getting the level of care that I need. My son is a disable vet from THIS conflict (Fallujah 2005) and he has had NO PROBLEMS with getting all the care and attention both physically and mentally that he needs. You sir, are full of crap.

i'll consistently help my abode team. My first selection is the Kolkata Knight Riders. would not rely who performs for it or who would not, that's my abode and that i think i could be unswerving to it. Then comes RCB because of the fact my standard present day cricketer performs in it, Virat Kohli, yet i might on no account want them to win the trophy because of the fact I haaaaattttteeeee their proprietors. -_- they could lose the semi finals each time. yet, I surely have seen lots of my classmates hate KKR for no reason and help communities like RR & RCB and luxuriate in whilst KKR loses. Had a super altercation final evening and desperate to help purely my abode team, Virat Kohli & Rahul Dravid. not their communities. i began helping RCB as my 2d team from the 1st season because of the fact they had adult men like Dravid & Kumble. BQ: got here approximately in basic terms the day previous. some adult men did start up making relaxing of KKR after the loss yet I took it surely and it became even however eye-catching to work out a grin on Dravid's face after the journey. wish this would not happpen returned reason the subsequent journey is KKR v RCB. :P and that i help Delhi too in view that lots of my kin stay there and that i bypass to oftentimes, a tender nook, in basic terms. Regards.

Cuz that is politics for you. I hate it. I support the troops by the way. My grandma made hats for them and we donate stuff. But yea Maybe it is the far right wing conservatives your thinking about. I'm sure McCain would want them treated properly. He fought in Vietnam and is a Republican just not far right. But I agree with you. Stupid Politics.

Valid question. Unfortunately the resources are not being provided and this is compounded by the lack of professionals available, particularly in the mental health field. Unfortunately even the mere mention of dead and wounded soldiers names is a sin to many of these callous individuals.

You can't even say that they are for our troops in Iraq. They don't want to properly train or equip the men because it will take too long. So we send more of our children to be killed because they are not prepared to fight. That is supporting the troops?
