Let's take the usual comparison - Christianity. I'm not Christian nor do I defend it but it's just not in the same league as Islam.

Yes there are violent passages in the Bible and other religious texts besides the Koran. But let's analogize - if violence can be analogized to mercury, reading the Bible is like eating tuna, while reading the Koran is like eating a thermometer.

And let's consider the religions' founders. Jesus was a peaceful man - it's the ******* that use his name that are violent. Muhammad was a pedophile and a mass-murderer - it is a matter of a historical record that he massacred entire villages that wouldn't help him massacre OTHER villages to spread Islam. It is a matter of historical record that he married a six year old and consummated the marriage when she was nine.

And consider the difference in scale and scope - more people are murdered in the name of Islam each year than died in the entire 350 year Inquisition.

I dare say Hilary is hated for making similar remarks. Are the people who hate her any more forgiving of McCain, just because he is in the frame of mind, now that he has presidential aspirations, to smooth over his interview and speech record from less circumspect, more candid pre-candidate days as a truth-teller?

How many people are going to try to have this one both ways?

McCain bothers me -- and should bother you, I submit -- because now that he is thinking president, he is changing the shading, and sometimes the substance, of his positions. Which is the real McCain... Senator McCain 12 months ago, or presidential candidate McCain this week?

Sheeple People who refuse to accept the fact that the Bush administration Orchestrated the Terror Attacks of 911 are just plain ignorant. It's impossible for Jet fuel or Kerosene to melt iron...LOOK AT THE PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS. Also if the floors collapsed causing a chain reaction it would have taken well over 90 seconds for the buildings to come down. They came down at free fall speed....9 seconds. I had been in an abusive gay relationship for over 20 years, from physical, to emotional to sexual abuse. It’s now been 5 year and have seemed to recovered somewhat, however have been in a legal battle with my x for the last 4 years to get my fair share of our estate.

I have tried everything legally as to not play the abuse card, however now I feel I need to tell it all. I had suppressed this part of our relationship, partly out of embarrassment and mostly to spare my family and his family the public humiliation.

Not sure what to do, I keep going back a forth, should I just give in and let him have what he wants and move on with my life. But part of me thinks that if I do I’ll be letting him abuse me again and again in my mind until I die.
