The Cold War had no casualties except perhaps for spies. No soldiers or civilians were killed as a result of the Cold War. U.S.S.R. killed millions of their own people, but they didn't do it as a result of the Cold War, they did it as a result of Stalin's orders. Other than The Cold War, I don't believe there was any other war in history that had no casualties. The very definition of war is the fighting between two or more powers. Fighting between powers always results in deaths, otherwise it is considered a disagreement, not a war. Wars cannot be settled without casualties. if they could, it wouldn't have escalated enough to reach the point of war. The Cold War is the only exception, mainly because it was coined as the "Cold War" rather than it actually being a war.

The fact that there are casualties is not important, the fact that people have died in this "war" to accomplish nothing is.

Yes, the EDSA Rebellion, Manilla about 1980.
2 million people gathered around the EDSA expressway in Manila and ousted Ferdinand Marcos. It lasted about a week and was called "the Bloodless Revolution".
Theoretically, it was bloodless. There was one man who died, Ninoy Aquino, a national hero who was assassinated on the tarmack of the Manila Airport, the event that sparked the revolution. (The airport is now named for him.)
