That's a good question. I've pondered that as well....I think part of it is that he knows what buttons to push so his listeners will have someone always there to blame (the liberals, the Mexicans, those on welfare, and on and on). It's easy too, he does their thinking for them and all they have to do is listen and remember the catch phrases. Very similar to recruiting methods of cults.
My milquetoast brother-in-law became a Rush nut, probably because of some serious self-esteem problems, and everytime he starts spewing out the Rush party line the rest of the family quickly changes the subject, and they're conservatives!. I won't even debate him because it would just be so pitiful.

it really is a subject for many the political suggestion occurring accessible at present. human beings do not truth verify... a short search for by the search engine and regardless of result comes up... absolutely everyone can edit wikipedia... it really is not any longer a sturdy source... it really is not any longer a nasty position to commence yet then you should study references... Even Glenn Beck admitted to no longer truth checking because his software is editorial is nature and not at all journalism or information. actually everyone keeps speaking about ingesting the kool-help on each and each area; it would help if actually everyone truth checked which does take some attempt sure and not at all only a short and dirty search for engine study. It also would not harm if we did not position self belief in editorialism for info because they let us know what we commit to hearken to. pass get the info and then make some recommended judgements.

What a dumb question. Rush hosts a political opinion show. If you don’t like his opinion than don’t listen to him. But to say he’s wrong because you disagree with his conclusions is just asinine. And to bring up a drug addiction for which he’s admitted to and received treatment and recovered from, or to bring up what you classify as race baiting which is a matter of your own opinion, claiming “proven inaccuracy” which is also a matter of your own opinion, a classification of liberalism as being bad (which isn’t far from the truth IMO but I’d actually say Liberalism is EVIL, again my opinion but I at least recognize it unlike you) is just stupid for you to claim that you are the beacon of accuracy or intellectual thought is just ridiculous.
Personally, if you believe in liberal ideals then I’d say it is you who needs to check yourself and whether liberal ideals mesh with the concepts of responsible freedom.
Oh, on a side note, I don’t even listen to Rush anymore because he’s gotten a bit too Good Old Boyish for me with the Republican Party. But aside from that his political social commentary I think is right on the money for the most part. He’s fun to listen to but he was even better in his early years, had more satire which made the show more entertaining IMO.

Why should I trust your claims when you do not provide any supporting evidence of your contentions. You state that Limbaugh has be proven inaccurate. Exactly what do you base this on? I don't listen to Limbaugh much and I certainly do not base my opinions on his statements, but from what I have seen his facts are verifiable enough as he provides sources for anything which is not stated as opinion. Now if you want to amend your statement and say that it is opinion that will be different, but if you are going to make defamatory statements about a person and present them as fact kindly at least try to act better than that which you seek to indict.

Just because we listen ti him does'nt mean we "trust" him. I think your all or nothing statement lacks any deep thought. It sound slike you are one of those who criticize Rush and don't listen, or get info 2nd or 3rd hand. Like anyone, you have to listen and think for yourself. Rush is funny as heck, which is the main reason I lsiten to him. Stop listening to what OTHER people tell you about Rush and give him a listen for yourself. You might be surprised.....

That's it attack the messenger. Rush is spot on when he points out that because liberals seek an equality of outcomes they are in fact the enemy of freedom. A person cannot live free in a fair society

Funny, since his shortlived show went off the air, I haven't heard anything from him, just people ranting about him. I always thought, IMHO, that if you are getting people that riled up, you must be doing something right.

It's just as unfathomable that people believe in Micheal Moore's vague arguements too. They're entertainers and nothing more. People who hang on their every word just don't realize how much money these folks make off of them.
