I'm just curious, maybe some of you big city cops could explain.

1. MS13 = how huge is this gang? we just had a brutal murder here and he was working at a meat plant under an assumed name. what's the deal? what's their M.O.?

2. husband got a packet from some agency w/ info on different gangs that said that in most larger cities, if you have lots of asian run nail places and buffets, you already have an asian gang problem. is this true? i find it hard to swallow.

any info you have would be interesting to me.. thanks.

That Bush went AWOL when he was in the service? That Bush lied about Saddam's WMD?

Why is it everyone says they hate Bush? I think the man has done a fantastic job running this country. Sure, he's not perfect by any means, but who is?? I think hes a nice man too. If it were up to me, I'd elect him over and over and over again. Just like they did with FDR. GO GWB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all agree now that the Crusades were wrong, to fight to force your religion on someone else isn't right. In a few hundred years will we look back and admit how wrong it was to go to war in Iraq?

Assuming she wins the nomination who would be the best choice for veep and why.

My answer: Governor Bill Richardson

He has a longstanding relationship with the Clinton's -- as a cabinet member and UN ambassador. He is Latin (his mother was Mexican) which willbring out the Latin vote for the Dems (the GOP lost 10 points of the Latin vote in the 2006 midterms). He'll deliver his home state of New Mexico and help the Dems keep their momentum they have picked up in the traditionally Republican western states (such as Colorado and Arizona.

What say you?

Any insight or advice based on fact would be appreciated. I have written about this before but now things are changing. I have been sentenced to "supervisory treatment" but I don't live in the state where I was sentenced. I have spoken to 2 lawyers, friends of the family that are cops, and even other people in the probation office. They all say I am being pushed around by these probation officers. The P.O. told me that I had to report to see him. I drove 400 miles and took 2 days off from work to be there only to be kept waiting and ignored for 2 hrs. The P.O. wasn't even there that day and I was finally told he wouldn't be back for another 3 weeks.(took vacation). I have asked several times to have my "treatment" moved to my local probation office in my home state so that I can comply and make the appearances. These people have refused and say there is no way to get it transfered. Is this true? Or am I being lied to and bullied by these people? I'm told that I cant be extradited.

or anyone else willing to entertain the idea. if it were btwn the two of them (which i guess it basically is for this party), who would you prefer to see in the white house? i personnally like obama, he seems to have more integrity and i was impressed with his interview on 60 minutes a few weeks ago...his relative inexperience doesn't concern me (too much) -- i would argue our current president had about the same amount (if not less). thoughts?
