Is it just alcohol, or can people have their license suspended for illegal drugs, or abusing prescription drugs behind the wheel?

From what I know, it always seems to be alcohol related, and I don't think it's fair if someone is barely over the legal limit and very slightly drunk compared to someone snorting crack or heroin, or heavily sedated, even if prescribed.

What do you all know/ think?

I'm torn - Muhammad, Marx, Keynes, Hitler...... I don't think Hitler could have taken full command of the German people and then used that command to do evil without the prior general acceptance of the subordination of the individual to the state - i.e., without Marx there is no Hitler (and no Stalin, Pol Pot, etc...) - I mean Hitler would have lived but you'd never have heard of him.

Similarly, Keynes told government officials what they wanted to hear - his ideas didn't lead to genocide of tens of millions but they did lead to life being more difficult for hundreds of millions than it would have been with financial independence. It's almost like comparing battle deaths to battle wounded.

Then there is Muhammad. He killed thousands in unprovoked raids to spread his religion by force. He preached hate and murder and taught that God wanted people to kill and every year tens of thousands take his teachings literally.

In terms of numbers of lives lost so far, I vote Marx...

One more question on abortion. Why do people who talk about the right to choose not think about that before they choose to have $ex. If you don't want to become pregnant, don't put yourself in a position to become pregnant. If you can't handle the consequences of having $ex, then don't have it.

I have a close friend. This friend has a girlfriend. He has told me many times that his girlfriend is sexually harrased at her workplace. Not only her, but all of her co-workers (who are all women) are too. She doesn't wish to report it because the boss is the owner of the company. She feels that if she reports it, she will probably loose her job. Is there anything that I can do?

To me, the only way to WIN in Iraq is to leave, and leave behind a nation that is able to do stand united. It might not be the right idea to pull out all or our troops right now, and it might not be the right idea to add another round of soldiers. I belive the right answer is somewhere in the middle. We need to slowly pull the troops out so that the Iraqis can take over. It isTHIER country.

I hate the debate about "Supporting the troops" it is such an ambiguous statement. Of course EVERYONE "supports the troops" they are fighting a war that WE sent them to fight and they deserve our respect and support. But just because someone opposes Bush's Iraq policy they should not be branded as "cowards" or "cut and runners". We have to leave Iraq at some point.

Also, the arguement that Terrorists will follow us here is absurd. There have always been and always will be terrorists. We have to protect our nation at home with the CIA, FBI, and Dept of Homeland Security not a war.

I didn't write the Koran. Muhammad did. I know there are verses in the Bible with references to violence - I'm not Christian either, but there's a big difference in scale and nobody seems to be taking those biblical references literally, whereas every year, tens of thousands of people take the violent Koranic verses literally.

I post chapter and verse from the Koran, where it commands to kill the unbelievers and behead us and cut our fingertips off, and this gets reported as "abuse" and people call me racist (last I checked, Islam wasn't a race), people argue that Christianity has violent verses and violence in its past as well (I'm not saying it doesn't - just that that doesn't justify preaching and committing violence for another religion - besides, Jesus never killed anyone and Muhammad killed thousands), and people argue that I'm being intolerant.

Isn't it OK to not tolerate intolerance? Isn't it OK to hate hatred?

Don't you hate the KKK? So do I. Islam is the same.

I don't really like the guy but it was quite obvious that some rather dubious people were out to get him. I guess the truth he got shot...right. Our current president didn't even serve. ( Old National Guard did not fight). I wonder will these people even attempt to begin lying about John Mccain. I remember years ago when republicans were calling Mccain racist for saying a bad word descibing Vietnamese people. You spend years being mentally and physically tortured by anyone and if that's the worst thiong that comes out of you then so be it!

Please don't lie about Mccain or believe what certain groups say when the time comes for him to run for President.

In my opinion, communism is dictatorship by definition; there is no gentle form of it because all ownership (i.e. power) is concentrated in the hands of one entity, even if it is initially perceived as a benevolent government. But that's just my opinion. I'm here to get yours, and if you are voting for him for other reasons, that's fine too.

When our leaders know that terrorism erupts becoz of certain undecided issues or certain people or groups are deprived of their fundamental rights or discrimnatory attitudes of the authorities or authoritarian/dictatorship attitudes & practices or by fake encounters etc etc.
Why do not we try to find out solutions to these & other such issues. I presume if world leaders and Masters would made sincere efforts in solving the burning issues of present world, the terrorism can be considerably brought down, if not eliminated totally. What generally people think about it?
