actually, he has. It does, of course, go under the radar like the most important accomplishments of most people.

YOu've outlined the work.

Of course, your question necessarily requires subjective analysis of objective data. That is to say, opinions necessarily come into play. I searched the net for conservative environmental sites to see what they had to say about the current administration. Here are the grades provided by PERC, a group which espouses what it calls "free market environmentalism." I think you will find his grades at the more green sites even lower.

Unfortunately his contributions to the well-being and improvement of our environment have been minimal at best. We're now drilling for oil in what was the Alaskan Wildlife Preserve. At the G8 summit he was very passionate about our environment and had several (science tested) ideas that would actually improve global emissions and the decrease of green house gases, only to at the last minute (after everyone else was on board with the idea) did he basically say, "Oh, you misunderstood me. This is what you need to do...the US won't be doing this at all." He was seen at the unavailing of the 1st Hydrogen Fuel gas station in Washington State, but hasn't made any endeavor to educate and "endorse" hydrogen slush powered cars. Sadly he's done worse things for/to the environment in his 7 years than any other president in the last 50 considering the amount of knowledge and information he has at his finger tips.

the bush admin reclassified mercury so that companies that handle this very dangerous substance could save a few bucks.

that has prompted several states to pursue law suits against the federal govt for this lapse in regulation.

bush has done a lot of BAD things for the environment...

NOOOO
If you live in the U.S. or the planet Earth for that matter, you should know that Bush hasn't done anything positive for our country...much less improve the environment.
