Steven Bixby is a filthy taint.

His house should be burned and his land plowed with salt.

A hero? Most certainally not. No man deserves to hang more than this dog. If you have the nerve to kill a cop, then you won't bat an eye if you suddenly decide to kill a civilian. Every person, man, woman and child is at risk with people like Bixby alive.

Send him to Texas - I'll be glad to pull the switch!

Although eminent domain can & is abused, nothing in the article you linked to gives any clue of a land grab by the government. No matter - when Mr Bixby gunned down 2 police officers who were only doing their job, he went from an normal landowning citizen to a common immoral criminal.

Steven Bixby is a hero if you want him to be a poster child for Hell, who's warped mind would he be a hero? As for the Officers involved who died, they did not deserve to die any more than you do for asking such a lame question.

He is getting just what he deserves. Those police officers did not deserve to be shot because of 20 feet of land.

I wouldn't say "deserved to die"-I'm sure they were just following orders from the state. Emminent domain had been upheld by the US Supreme Court. People, be aware, the government can legally take your land for any reason it wants-even for a Walmart!

Cold blooded murder.

Puts him in the same category as a few other "heroes" right? like John Wayne Gacey, Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, the Zodiac killer....

So he "only" killed two? Remorseless, pre-planned assassinations w/o reason or provocation.

He's no hero and had no business doing what he did. He'll find out what it's like to "ride the lightning" and I hope his old man's sitting on his lap when they throw the switch.
