George Orwell wrote: "Pacifism is objectively pro-fascist. This is elementary common sense. If you hamper the war effort of one side, you automatically help out that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one. In practice, 'he that is not with me is against me. "

I live in Manchester, and my children in Hampshire. I see them when I can and have them with me for school holidays.
I have just been informed that in May they are moving to France with my ex wife and partner. Does anyone know my rights or what I can do to stop them moving. It will be impossible for me to see the if they move.

okay, my 15 yr old brother got in trouble today for bringing Oregano to school in a plastic bag. I guess it was supposed to be a joke, I know it should not have been brought to school, but they are making a huge deal about it, he got suspended, and they turned the case over to juvie....can he really get in that much trouble for that?

From what I am reading about the Iraqi Shiite relationship with Iran, it appears to me that Iraq will ally itself with Iran the first chance they get. Al Maliki has already stated that he doesn't want American and Iran to bring their fight to his country. We are there helping his country, at great cost of lives and money to our country, while he criticizes us for fighting with Iran while there. Iran should not be there stirring up killing. They ignore that.

I have been asked to help out a foreigner by signing some document which basically says I can be sued for things my sponsored individual does. They have all their paperwork in order otherwise (they're coming from China).

So, I'd like to do my part -- help out another fellow citizen of Earth. What if the tables were turned? "Do unto others"...

Still, I'd like to know what COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN, in a WORST CASE scenario. The only asset I own is my house -- paid for in full, probably worth $250k. Is a family's primary residence a fair target for a lawsuit? Will we end up sleeping in our car? The reason I ask is: I'd get me a bigger car. =]

I'm a working-class professional. I don't have much money at all, but I make a good living. I'm NOT afraid of fighting some lawsuit in court, but I'd hate to lose my house.

What kinds of things can I REALLY be sued for?

TIA,
Jesse

This is in regards to the increased population of mentally unstable inmates, as a direct result of closing down mental institutions in the 80s. Was this a good conservative move, to save the costs on the hospitals, but increase the cost of the prisons? Not to mention overcrowding?

Guilani and Romney might as well be Democrats, they are so liberal. McCain isn't much better. None of these 3 deserve my vote.

Tom Tancredo isn't perfect, but at least he recieved a B+ rating from the NRA

Sure they "support" the troops actually fighting their war.....but what about wounded troops?

Walter Reid VA Hospital was found mold and rat infested. The VA budget has been cut time and again over the last six years in our repubican dominated government.

After $360 billion spent on Iraq, they couldnt fix the VA hospitals to treat our wounded troops? Why did they neglect them like this????

A flammable hydrocarbon such as jet-A burns under optimal conditions (with air forced into the combustion chamber) at 1,800F. In an open air fire it will burn at about 1,200F. Structural steel doesn't melt until 3,332F. Video footage shows molten steel pouring out of the gaping wound in one of the towers. Statements, recorded on video by the Naudet brothers' documentary, of firefighters on the scene that day talked about "molten steel running down the channel rails" and how it was "like being in a foundry". Sturctural steel CAN NOT be melted by a hydrocarbon. Period. How did jet-A melt sturctural steel? If a building suffers a pancake collapse, the fastest rate of destruction possible is 6 floors per second. That would mean that the 110 story buildings should have taken at least 18.3 seconds. Newton's 2nd Law applied to an object dropped from a 110 story building would take 9.4 seconds to hit the pavement. WTC 1 fell in 8.6 seconds. WTC 2 fell in 10.4 seconds. How?

(Original Question)Why did people lie about John Kerry? Will they do the same to John Mccain?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The National Guard didn't need to fight. Know why? They were busy protecting our sea border's from invaders. Our other military, Army, Navy, and Marines were doing a damn good job keeping the enemy in their own lands, and kicking the tar out them. John Kerry got shot, but it was a superficial wound, and I never heard of anyone out to get him, more like he was out to get the USA, with his lying testimony to the Congress! John Kerry only joined the military to achieve a better status for his political career, which is more than obvious. John McCain did his duty for the American People, for his country, and he suffered greatly. He stayed the course, no matter if the war was popular or not. Did John Kerry? Did he? Did he? I don't think so! First chance he got, he turned traitor. Did John McCain? Did he? Did he?

Bush is a traitor to the Spirit of the United States.

Our economic system is based on mercantilism. Our system of laws are based of the Bible and democracy. If we are a people of God then why do we base are every move worldwide on our economic power and very little on our system of laws. Basically when people threaten our economic stabiilty and say bad stuff in Iraq about us we attack with full power top protect our economic interest but when people are being slaughtered in Bosnia or dying in the Sudan of hunger then those same people who were so ready to go to war to protect our economic interest are silent when there is talk of protecting the weak and enblazening the Spirit of the United States.

Am I a traitor as Ann Coulter put it???

It is interesting to note that despite the gap in social standing between these two males, the body language is similar ! ? The youth has a commonly seen yet bizarre dsiplay of hands down the trousers whilst mr. cameron has a hand slung into his pocket ? How elegant for a public figure. Old chinese proverb say " man with hole in pocket, feel cocky all day ." Isn't this a real sign of the times in britain?. Basically a yob and another yob. The blind leading the blind drunk ?

Considering the current political climate, do you think it is possible that we may someday become so divided, that people of differing views will not be able to live together in peace? Will we have to someday create some type of legally separate countries? What do you see for our future in this respect?
