That using contraceptives IS being responsible and sometimes they fail?
irresponsibility would be to bring a child into the world that can't be properly taken care of.

pro-lifers don't realize that each person who resorts to abortion has a story to tell of their own. It's not due to irresponsibility. It's not as if they have sex and think "Hmm...condom, pill , or abortion...which one will I pick?" It's not like that.

What about the children that are born to the wrong people? The people that don't want those children? Those children end up being neglected and abused and live a horrible life. But it's ok to bring them into this world, right? What about the horrible parents (if you can call them that) who end up throwing their babies against walls because they can't control their rage but they're "pro-life", how "pro-life" is that???

There are much more important battles to fight, in my opinion.

One contraceptive never fails and that is not having sex. That is the only 100% effective one. If you take a chance, albeit a small one, you are responsible for the consequences. I have three kids, none were planned and even though I live paycheck to paycheck, abortion was never considered. My wife and I took responsibility for what we did, we used contraceptives the first time. Every person knows that having sex could result in pregnancy. They need to take that responsiblity. Why in this country are we so ready to allow people to not be ultimately responsible for their actions. It is ridiculous and it is the problem we face as a nation. We want to make excuses or push the problems we've created off on someone else to solve. That is un-American.

Yes, many people use birth control but it fails. Why don't they see this? It can happen and it has happen. A couple uses a condom but it breaks, they want to use Plan B or morning-after pill and the pro-lifers cried murder. The couple is taking responsiblity but the pro-lifers are clouded by their own hatred.

Every baby is a blessing, whether you expect it or not. The failure of birth control methods, rape, or even incest are in no way an excuse for murder. If a baby is not suppose to be here...then nature will not bring it to term. For people that have an abortion...and 99% of the time..it isn't a rape victim or incest victim...it is for the convenience and vanity of the person having one. Adoption is an option...but then again...what would they do looking fat and having stretch marks? What would they tell everyone that knew they were pregnant but didn't have the baby? Abortion is self serving and selfish. God created that baby at conception, and to throw it back at him by murdering it, is like slapping God in the face...but worse.

So your saying that we should abort all children who would be born to poor parents? Should we also abort because they are not being born into white rich liberal families? Wouldn't it be easier to just exterminate the poor? Maybe we should exterminate the Catholics because most Irish are Catholic and would probably not properly take care of their children. And then there is the Jews..

I heard about this awesome contraceptive that NEVER fails. It's called KEEP YOUR LEGS SHUT. Believe it or not, you aren't going to explode from the inside if you don't get it every 2 days. I abstained for 21 years until my wedding night. Guess what? I KNOW I don't have any STDs, I don't have any kids with former girlfriends, I don't have to worry about anything. It's the greatest worry-free contraceptive EVER.

I know, I know, I'm a loser, but at least I don't have to worry about my gf getting an abortion....

They dont see the irony.

They want to "save the babies", which is a nice way of saying they want to use and manipulate other peoples lives to make up for their own lack of self-control.

I have a hard time seeing how the political wing of guns, big tobacco and unlimited consumptions suddenly doesnt agree with the right-wing view that an adult has the right to do unto themselves as the damn well please.

What is "irresponsible" here is trying to use the bible, the most violent book of all time, sworn by for centuries by warmongers, slave owners, and heretic burners, that "murder is wrong".

good job! today's lesson will be on contradictions.

irresponsibility is not owning up to the consequeces of your actions. anybody with a brain knows that birth control can never be absolutely 100%, in your case, why even bother with birth control? we can just give out abortions. what is the point?

you were an accident by the way...
lucky for you, you're mom didn't have an abortion.

Did you realize that when a woman decides to be with someone no matter what she could be with child later? Did you know that many men are actually hoping to get married and have families? Do you realize that women that are sharing a bed with and the man is allowed no say in the birth of his child?

Please stay out of our life's just because you want to have reckless sex and stop killing babies OK!

I didn't know or realize that pro lifers are against contraceptives. That's news to me. They just don't like abortion being used as a contraceptive and i have to agree with that.
