It is already viewed differently right now...depending upon who is viewing it. So many people have differing opinions at the moment but in a few hundred years humans will have the benifit of hindsight and will also know the outcome of the war, which we as of yet do not know the full consequences.
Great Britain was invaded countless times, Romans, Vikings etc and perhaps if we hadn't been I wouldn't exist... that is not to say it is ok, but it is so far in the past that we don't feel affected emotionally by it, there are no living ancestors left to tell the tales of their own personal suffering, there for we can analyse it and know there is nothing we can do to change it because it is the past and has happened. At the moment the war is going on and as a British citizen I would not like to be invaded by Iraq, i would be terrified for myself and my family and friends. That is how the civilians in Iraq must also feel, they are people too and it is tradgic that human beings are so cruel to each other. I wish things could be different.
Peace to you

You ask two questions.
Will we view it differently? Of course, history always gives a different perspective on any event. A more complete picture of things will be available (probably) and this will cause views to change on it.
Your last question is a leading question. Because YOU think it is wrong does not mean that history will support your view. It is just as likely that it will be viewed as neither right nor wrong but neutral.
Comparing this war to the Crusades is also flawed. There are very few similarities between the reasons for fighting between the two periods in question, and the sociopolitical systems that are involved in the conflict are completely different.
Besides, who says the Crusades were wrong? To the people AT the TIME, from the societies they came from, this made perfect sense. To OUR moral standpoints of today, they were wrong. In a few hundred years, it may be that the decision to fight Hitler in Europe will be viewed as 'wrong.'

Who said the Crusades were wrong? Religion is the cause of all wars (give or take) and, if you don't think so, check out what's going on at the moment. History will equate Iraq with Vietnam, I suspect. A question of politicians unable to negotiate a settlement so resorting to force but with no knowledge of what to do with the country they've invaded.

The Crusades where not fought to impose christianity the original crusades where suppose to protect pilgrims going to the Holy land. Some of us have always thought this war was wrong. It scares me when this point view is expressed. We are derided for not backing the troops. Well i will back the British army and still say this war is wrong

I do not think we will be around in a few hundred years, one day, USA will go up against some country with a nuclear bomb, and it will result in nuclear war, we will all be wiped out and nature will start all over again, I hope next time Mother nature will not get it so wrong, where we all can get on, with no religion politics etc

We don't have to wait. Most of the people in the United States and the world think we were wrong to go to war in Iraq.

no because if we didnt go over there then they would come over here, we will look at it like we have looked at the veitnam war. this war will go on for a long time. we all know that and what we all need to do is just SUPPORT our troops for what they are doing, for our freedom, and stop critizing what we are doing we have had a lot of men and women die for the cause, we need to just support them, and stop worrying about rather it is right or wrong. We have NO say in it anyways. What our soilders need is our support. We dont want the terriost on our land fighting us here, we would rather be on their land.
