When intellectuals are despised, as is avant-garde art.
When militarism is the policy.
When the government cultivates the Common Man by praising him for his traditional values.

Our country is controlled by ignorant, uncaring, rich business capitalists. Unless you are a holocaust survivor or a political refugee from Cuba or Iraq, you have no idea whatsoever what real fascism is.

By paying attention in History class and reading the dictionary. But too many people are willing to put up with it as long as they think the policies don't involve them...but guess what people...it will eventually.
