Assuming she wins the nomination who would be the best choice for veep and why.

My answer: Governor Bill Richardson

He has a longstanding relationship with the Clinton's -- as a cabinet member and UN ambassador. He is Latin (his mother was Mexican) which willbring out the Latin vote for the Dems (the GOP lost 10 points of the Latin vote in the 2006 midterms). He'll deliver his home state of New Mexico and help the Dems keep their momentum they have picked up in the traditionally Republican western states (such as Colorado and Arizona.

What say you?

IMO, a great VP would be Bernie Sanders. He is "VERY' knowledgeable, and passionate. Of all the
people Hillary could choose. I believe Bernie would be the best for the people of the U.S. His
only drawback is that he is a true socialist. I have no problem with a little socialism myself. After all
the years of oligarchy the States has suffered through. I believe it's time for our President and VP to
put the people of this country first. Obama has tried and won some and lost some. But, the social
interest need to be worked on more so now. I believe Bernie can bridge that gap. I hope you guys agree
somewhat with me on this.

Bill Richardson wouldn't be a bad choice, neither would Evan Bayh. After all is said and done though I think a Clinton/Obama ticket would be almost unbeatable for the Dems in '08. They may not be getting along now, or in the near future, but that isn't a requirement for being running mates. They compliment each other very well.

Timothy B and Elway, I would like to congratulate you for your well thought-out and expressed opinions.

My opinion - John Edwards. She's a fast-paced New York woman, he's a laid-back Southern guy.

Bill Richardson doesn't have enough name recognition right now. If he manages to make himself well known over the next year, you could very well be right. Elway could be right too.

If Satan is too busy, I would have to say Brittney Spears. Think about it if something happened to the President, wouldn't they want another crazy women to replace her.
