My drill pay when I join the National Guard will be almost 200 dollars....I also get money for housing allowances and such like that too, right? It isn't only 200 a month...what different things are factored in and about (about, like a general estimate) how much will it be per month? Thanks.

We're there, we all want to win, and no serious Democrat wants to bring all of the soldiers home today, it would be impossible.
We need to put an end to Bush's position as ultimate "decider" on all things in Iraq, and get a concensus opinion that the entire country can get behind. Baker/Hamilton made the suggestion of talking with Syria and Iran, why was that never looked into? Wouldn't our presence in Iraq be more tolerable if we made it known to the Iraqi people that we have no plans for a permanent presence in Iraq, and discontinued the construction of permanent military bases? Why not flesh out a good plan that utilizes troops to a full potential before throwing them into the fire as part of an escalation? Bush has the opportunity to be the uniter that he said he was, but instead plays the role of the stubborn child once again.

I live on over 60 acres within the city limits of a small town in new Mexico. My neighbor lives in town and owns a few acres next to mine. All the land in question is zoned "industrial".
My "neighbor" ' has built a motorcycle track that covers almost all of his land and he allows people to ride as much as they want on the track. Some of the bikes are very loud and we can hear them inside our house. We bought this property because we love peace and quiet and now we cannot enjoy being outdoors on our own property when they are riding.
I have called the police many times but they have finaly decided that because of the zoning there is no limit to the noise I have to tolerate.
Is it possable to charge the owners / riders with public nuisance or disturbing the peace? The owner of the track is not responsive to my complants, the attitude is that if it is not illegal , then it must be ok. The riders say they have permission to ride on private property and I can't stop them. Help !

And don't say they don't want to waste precious time. They have no qualms about wasting time on anti-flag burning amendments and anti-gay amendments and prayer in school amendments.

I told her I think that if she committed a felony they'd arrest her on the spot. Her court date is March 22 and she's a nervous wreck. I think she may lose her license since she also had a friend in the car before her year trial period was up...but a felony? We're in CA.

If you have not I highly suggest you take a look at it because the media just does not show it. Ask yourself, why you have not seen it.

Maybe someone who is pro-choice can explain why it is a woman's right to choose? Who gave you this entitlement other than the Supreme Court? Why isn't the father involved in the choice? If someone can get convicted for killing an unborn child in the murder of pregnant mother, why is that the only time the unborn child classified as a life to you? Regarding the last question, you can not have it both ways pro-choicers...

It appears to me, that with the money spent on the war in Iraq, we could at least use some of that money for drug interdiction...or does the US Government really want it stopped, at least at the upper echelons of interdiction?
