Before you answer please google both of these and gain some minimal knowledge of the subjects before responding! I personally believe that economic freedom and political freedom cannot be seperated! When government grows in power the people lose control of many aspects of life! Please respond peacefully! Everyone I know wants the best for human society, we just have different ways of going about it!

So let me get this straight. Liberals are for CUTTING (our losses) AND RUNNING (from) Iraq, but almost immediately after gaining a 'mandate' from the public, Nancy Pelosi sticks it to the people by passing a non binding resolution that is completely outside of their jurisdiction, and therefore, unenforceable. Democrats don't support the troops in Iraq, but rather than voting to actually stop funding the war that puts them there, which is within the powers and abilities, the best Democrats can expect is a non-binding resolution that addresses the decision to go to war, which is, as far as I understand, not supposed to be in their purview. It's a good thing for Democrats that the electorate doesn't respond to inept leadership the same way Conservatives do. Conservatives respond to inept leadership by not turning out to the polls, which in essence is saying, 'why should I take time from my busy schedule to go and vote for someone who is not going to do what I have elected them to do?'

Can you sue Yahoo for doing this without your permission.

Will he be welcome anywhere to speak? Will anyone invite him to social functions? Will he continue to only make appearances at well-controlled, highly secure, secretive, ultra-conservative locations???

Recently someone had the audacity to say that those of us in the military had "volunteered to face harm willingly" and went on to use this to justify our continued involvement in Iraq. I'm not here to argue for or against the war, I speak only of the military. WE ARE NOT CANNON FODDER.

Please keep a couple things in mind:

Though it is debatable whether your typical 17-year-old with no life experience can adequately evaluate a 2- to 6-year service obligation, technically we are a volunteer military. However, this is not a carte blanche to use us as human shields. We depend on the American people to make reasonable judgments as to the necessity of calling us to duty from our families, and what guarantees are in place for our safety. The claim that we "face harm willingly" makes it sound like we don't even value our lives. Certainly the person asking that question doesn't. We face harm when necessary to protect your rights whether you agree with any individual conflict or not.

Now, before my question gets totally railroaded and I get bombarded with insults, please consider the question.

If you look at history, the Army has always been a MUCH larger force than the Marines, in fact, several hundreds of times larger. Also, the Marines did not play any major roles in combat until World War 1, but since, have grown tremendously in size and capability, to the point where the Corps is now half the size of the Army. Also, the popular opinion in today's youth is that the Marine Corps is "cooler" and tougher, and everyone wants to be a Marine. Does anyone else think the Army will get replaced in the future?

i had a bad encounter with a dealership in el paso, tx. the car salesman i worked with gave my personal information to another marine in order to find me. im in the military and he contacted everyone in my chain of command and was threating me. he also told me that he wanted to call the local authorities in san diego and tell them that the car was stolen and have me arrested. it was all over an expired license that they new i had when i purchased the car. im in the military so therefore, we are not required to renew our license in the state of tx. they humiliated me and embarrassed me infront of my coworkers. what can i do about it....

I have received a scholarship to return to school and attend AFROTC. I'm interested in the classes that I'll attend, your role in ROTC, and some of the ROTC events/functions/training. I'm particularly interested in field training and how that compares to basic training at Lackland. Currently, I'm enlisted and have been on active duty 3 years. Thanks to any and all for their answers!

The 419 scam is where people from Ghana and Nigeria send you an email saying they have your consignment ready and will ship it to your destination as soon as we can send 550.00 for registering it. They then send a so called diplomat and you meet him and it is then they tell you due to local regulations you need a Anti-laundering certificate and it will cost 4600.00 they will then show you a sample of the money and then leave with the funds and it's over. Also I have been stupid twice as I feel for the Black Money scheme and it was not a good deal so far and of course the last I have lost 8000.00 dollars. These people are very convincing. Now why doesn't CNN ever cover stories like this and help us victims of these scams.
