Now exactly why would you wanna boycott Hershey's for ?
Do you want to make the 11,500 Hershey employees left in America lose their job?
While a boycott might sound like a good idea, , even after the layoff of 1,500 US Hershey employees and the move to Mexico, 80% of Hershey's workforce will still be in America.
Any boycott will affect their jobs, and I don't see how putting 11,500 American Hershey employees jobs in jeopardy is gonna help the 1,500 laid off Hershey employees...........do you?

Yes. I never liked their crap colored chemicals anyway. Sir, I salute you as an American, and I hereby proclaim a lifelong boycott of a company that I considered to be one of the last great American companies (union or not).
Why don't they just sell out to China like Rubbermaid plastics did a few years ago?

As long as our government is intrusive, over-regulating and confiscatory, I cannot blame businesses for fleeing. How would you feel if you were compelled to have OSHA enter your house every three months and demand that you comply with the minutia du jour?
When Daimler and Chrysler merged, there was a question about where they would be headquartered: the U.S. or Germany. It was obvious that Germany's tax code was more favorable to business. Unless we adopt something like the Fair Tax, we can expect more businesses to leave.

I love your idea. Could we include Ford & GM in the boycott?
Both companies have just laid off hundreds of workers.
Now Temple Hospital (Philly) is going to lay off 500 people
& Rendall is trying to raise the sales tax to 7%.
I think Penna. might be in of need help in the near future.

Great idea, then you can cause problems for the large number of American workers they still have. 1500 jobs is all they lost and the American consumer will benefit. Most of those jobs were filled by newly immigrated individuals and are not desirable positions in general. The same immigrants most of you are complaining about in the first place. Find a real issue like genocide in Darfur or homelessness in children.
