I have so much pain in my heart from family deaths. My sister passed away from what we think was Prozac side effects.

I had a very close net family that included my dad's sisters and brothers. Now my family is desintegrating, dad dead, uncles too, the matriarch of the family died adn Im devastated. . I feel numb from so much loss. Not numb for I do feel terrible sadness and as if my entire life was taken away.
How can one get over grief like these? Its an entire family history gone.

A history unlike many. I had a great family. It came with many great surprises and neat gatherings. All that is gone now.

I keep getting one death after the other one.
I feel happy for them but not for me any suggestions how to not loose one's foundation when all are dying around you?

If safety is such a factor in wearing a seatbelt then why not apply the same logic to abortion. If personal rights are a factor in keeping abortions legal then why not apply to that logic to the right to choose wearing a seatbelt or even a motorcycle helmet.

various possible scenarios

1) i see that thieves entering my neighbor's home [who has gone to a party with his family] and i ignore it and quietly start watching tv and let the theft happen

2) if while entering a subway, i see that a young girl is being molested there by 2 big men, and i quietly flee from there, thinking that if i try to do something maybe i myself will get beating [or maybe injury] at hands of those 2 men

3) i see my brother picking pocket of someone while we both were in a crowded market, and i remain quiet with the thought that let him steal, its good for him that he gets free money [thinking that his good is of course my good]

i want to analyse my inaction from 2 perspectives- my 'presumed inability' to affect the outcome of an event in progress, and secondly, my 'deliberate indifference' about something happening. do these 2 perspectives make a difference to my inaction being a crime or not

If this is true, then why are some churches allowed to keep their tax-exempt status while they continue this discriminatory practice?

A food factory worker has been arrested on charges he sprinkled glass and other debris into Chinese vegetable dumplings. Albert Vidal Torres, of Ontario, pleaded not guilty Monday to federal charges of tampering with consumer products. The charges carry a maximum sentence of 40 years in federal prison. Prosecutors say Torres, 33, contaminated the wontons in 2003 during the manufacturing process at Golden Crown Foods in Industry. The company has since moved to Ontario. The dumplings were shipped to markets across the state. Golden Crown Foods discovered the contamination after customers complained about finding odd things in their wontons. In addition to glass, prosecutors believe Torres also contaminated the dumplings with seeds, pebbles and spit. Nobody was hurt, although the company was forced to recall and destroy nearly $23,000 worth of dumplings, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles.

New info shows that England south of a line from the Wash to the Isle of Wight subsidises the rest of the UK to the tune of an average of £ 1,000 per head. North East England gets a subsidy of £ 2,591 per head, followed by Yorkshire and NW England. Obviously the Scots and Welsh receive massive subsidies.

I guess the population of this new Kingdom would be around 30 million and it would be by far the wealthiest major country in the EU. Without the drag of the poorer areas of the UK the new Kingdom could lower taxes and forge ahead still further. The Conservatives would have a natural majority.

In my opinion, he is the one most responsible for the Katrina aftermath. He left the city in the middle of a crisis and complained that the feds didn't get there quick enough, while his own local gov't had no plan and offered no help to their own people. And now, billions of aid from charities and the fed gov't has been lost or severly mismanged. Why is he still so popular? Am I missing some good things that he has done?
