In history war has always had a purpose with the winner having something to gain. What is the worlds problem with colonization these days? It just seems to me that Iraq could pay for itself and we could stay there continually monitoring the situation if we just made it a territory. If we policed it ourselves and reaped the benefits the people would have a better life and we would solve most of our problems there.

Nowadays we see that the supreme court judges can be purchased or if you are an influencial person in the society or a wealthy politician, you can get the verdict as per your wish. It is practically proved in many cases. While most of the ciriminals have turned to politics to become more and more powerful and wealthy, the poor people are the sufferers. Unfortunately, the public are barred from commenting upon our judiciary or any verdict or a judge. In what way they are superior than a common man and after all they are also human beings and they are bound to commit errors. In many cases, the supreme court has stepped in and scrapped the lower court's order. Under such circumstances, what is the credibility of the Judge from the lower court and is there any punishment to him for having erred in his duty.
I would like to receive a frank opinion on this.

I am a little bit disturbed by the fact that I am always paranoid about someone seeing me write that I am against the war in Iraq. And that the Gov. will come and arrest me for my views on the war, and How it was mishandled by the Bush Administration. Most of you all probably think I should be shot. OH WELL??, but to those who don't want to shoot me for my outspokeness, do you sometimes feel this way???

In his novel, "1984," George Orwell painted a haunting picture of a totalitarian government and a war that lasted forever, against a shifting enemy. Now it's 2007, and the world is fighting a borderless, seemingly endless "war on terror" that shifts territories. In "1984," there was no privacy and "Big Brother Is Watching You." They say that an average person is caught on video tape at least ten times a day. My office is continually monitored. I'm probably watched 100 times a day or more. In "I984," the "thought police" monitored people for "wrongthinking." Now we have moral pundits from all sides. You're either too "liberal" or too "conservative." In "1984," people talked in "double talk" and "newspeak." We have a President who denies "global warming" and insists people call it "climate change." He mouths meaningless platitudes like "We must stay the course" and "Axis of Evil." How close are we to fulfilling Orwell's prophecies?

I am not the smartest person when it comes to politics. But If a Democrat votes for a Republican more times than he does for a Dem, what does it make that Dem. I agree with the Dem Agenda mostly, but Have not agreed so far in my voting life with the Dem Presidential Candidate. Plus I just kinda go with the one who shares my views as I think all politicians lie. What Does that make me??????????????

They criticize the President's and Generals' new plan but they don't offer up an alternative that would result in victory. The House and Senate previously passed two resolutions based on reccomendations of two bipartisan congressional committees. Now they pass a symbolic resolution that had bipartisan debate but the wording was solely comprised by the Democrats.

If they don't like the new plan why don't they offer up an alternative?
