He, Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer, he tells his ditto's what they want to hear. His sole purpose in life and a purpose that he serves quite well is to sell sponsorship for his program, the more listeners he gets, the more sponsorships he sells and the more money he makes. Rush is in effect a liar from the word git-go. What is bad is those that believe a drug addicted buffoon and hang on his every word.

I didn't hear that commercial, but the main thing about Rush that I find tragic is that so many people still listen to him and believe him. I'm not even sure he believes this stuff himself, and yet some folks take his every word as gospel.

I have a hunch that Rush found himself a gig that got him good ratings and lots of attention. He found himself a political rock star. And like most rock stars he believed his own press releases, and became a victim of his own addictions. He really does not speak from a thought out factual place.

My impression of him is that he is playing to the beat of the Neo-Con songs. He is a hypocrite and should have been displayed as such. I still do not understand how he got off so easy on his faking of drug prescriptions. He would not know a "fact" if it bit him in his backside!!
