The judge in Florida does not have jurisdiction over the baby. The judge in the Bahamas does. The baby is a Bahamian citizen. The judge in California may have jurisdiction over the DNA order, but does not have jurisdiction over the baby herself. Anna died in Florida, so the judge does have jurisdiction over her remains there, but her will was drawn up either in the Bahamas or in another state and will have to go through probate, which cannot be done until a death certificate is issued.
It makes me sick to see all of these people coming out of the woodwork now that Anna is gone and claiming they know what she wanted. Her will is the only thing that should count.
Her mother was nothing more than a womb donor who only wanted money from Anna when she was alive and now thinks she can steal it by playing the grieving parent. Listen to the interviews Anna gave, she totally despised that woman and would never have given her a thing, much less custody of her daughter.
Anna clearly wanted to be buried in the Bahamas next to her son. That is the only reason she would have bought 4 burial plots together. 1 for Daniel, 1 for her, 1 for Howard, and 1 for DannieLynn. The math is simple and adds up with the facts.
Yes, all the men involved with Anna should give DNA for testing. The father of the baby should have custody, if he is deemed fit by a family court, and Anna's money should go into a blind trust for her daughter when she comes of age. No one involved should be trustee, that should be appointed by the courts and overseen by a board until the child reaches 21 years of age. That way none of the wannabe daddies or anyone else can steal the childs' inheritance.

There are three different jurisdictions, Florida, California, and a foreign country, Bermuda. That alone is good for three years. The Bermuda court would seem to have physical custody of the child, but the paternity suits come from the other locations, and no one even knows if Anna and the lawyer were actually married Its a plate of legal spaghetti and it will take some time to figure out.
Anna hated her mother, and her mother has shown herself to be the kind of person who would sell nude pics of the baby to make a buck. You need more than a judge, you need a Solomon.

With all the males coming out of the woodwork claiming that baby as theirs speaks volumes of the morality of Ms. Smith. A DNA test should be performed immediately to confirm the father of that little girl. Bottom line is money and how these men think that they can get their hands on it. I also believe that Ms. Smith's birth mother should be sent packing back to Texas. She is also a money grubbing hog.

It's a jurisdictional matter, and Birkhead and his attorney have not come to the Bahamas yet to get an order for a DNA sample from Stern and the baby. However, they are supposed to be there when the trial resumes on Tuesday.

Because there is so much money involved. Lawyers are going to pick it clean. Lawyers are going to make it so it wont be easy and even though they represent different clients. They will all meet at the country club and have a party when the last morsel is picked clean

That's the exact question, I'm sure many are asking....myself included. Perhaps there could have been some answers by now. However, I expect whatever the outcome, NO ONE involved will accept it. Just more of the legal mumbo jumbo that makes the world go round...........and round........and round.

The judge would loose hours of camera time if he went ahead and quickly ordered the DNA test.

I agree this mystery could have been solved along time ago, the baby is 5 months old. Do it already and give the baby to the biological father and we won't have to hear about it anymore.
