And why? Of course, you would also take the knowledge of current events as well.

I would like to be involved in the writing of the Constitution to make certain areas nonammendable (of such a word).

My coworker lost a large account through no fault of his so he threaten to quit if the company didn't provide a future to him. He has made numerous ennemies with his co workers at the company due to his unprofessional handlings of accounts. He is about to have a second child in his family. The all male supervisors have created a position for him. I am much more qualified for this position than he. However the position was not open to anyone to apply for. So I was unaware of this until his promotion was announced. Is there anything I can do?

Camera's that only take 4 frames a second and can't even catch an airplane on tape. My local K-mart store has a better security and surveillance system than the Pentagon does. Is this the way Donald Rumsfield "wanted" it?

Other than growing up in a wealthy family, going to the best schools, marrying a gifted politician and "standing by her man", many believe Hillary has done little,if anything, in her life that is unselfish or admirable.

I've heard too many people with too short a memory. What would you have done to enforce the UN resolutions that Saddam had ignored. Before the last one that Bush got passed, there had been 16 resolutions and a cease fire agreement that Saddam had ignored. There had been no consequense that got him to do anything. Sanctions didn't work. Passing more and more resolutions didn't work. Inspectors were harrassed and kept from doing their job. Talking didn't work. What would you have done?

Saddam was not moved by the threat of force because he knew Clinton and the rest of the UN cabal didn't have the guts to do anything. Threats only work when you are willing to back them up. Previous experience told Saddam he had nothing to fear.

The past week I have been in a bad mood and I have asked a lot of stupid questions and answered a lot of stupid answers just for the purpose of being a jerk. I didn´t need anybody to point out to me that I was just typing without thinking. I feel that everybody is entitled to their opinion, as I am too. And I don´t have anything against ´conservatives´ or ´republicans´. I was just venting my anger at the time in obviously the wrong way. Anyway, I´ll try to be a lot more constructive here on answers. Once again, sorry. Take care. Love and Respect.

If a person comes into the United States with a passport but then overstays their visit by a significant amount of time, what will happen to them? Also, is a passport the same as a visa?

I tried to post this quesion last night & it never showed up but was deleted as a "violation." Let's see if I can rephrase it to make it more palatable. It's a valid quesion and I would love to hear some valid answers.
Ok, all of us are immigrants here unless we are 100% Native American yet I hear a lot of us complaining that the illegals are coming here & taking our jobs. If we truly stop & consider our own past I think we would realize it's just not true. History shows that the White immigrants came here, many without passports, visas & completely undocument & killed the Native Americans for their land. Once they acquired the land they decided they didn't want to work it themselves so they went to Africa to get slaves to work the land for them. They didn't want to do that menial labor. I would like to mention also that the people that were abducted to work as slaves arrived here completely undocumented with no background checks & no health checks. continued.....

I am very conservative--I'm pro-life, pro-gun, anti-sodomy, etc. But I am against the Iraq war because it's unconstitutional--our military was meant for our DEFENSE, not nation-building.

Has anyone here really considered that there are conservatives who are against the war? Or that Bush is not a true conservative?

I'm sick and tired of the flag-waving jingoists around here!

i read in the paper the other day that one county in England are producing roadsigns in Polish as well as English!! Is it just me or is this absolutely crazy? What about the other cultures here, should we have massive roadsigns with every language supported.. why have the Polish been singled out for preferential treatment? Surely if you come to the UK you learn English, live by the Laws of the UK and drive according to the Highway code. If you drive in this country you learn the highway code and the few required words like stop, caution, one-way...and so on. This is common sense, why are councils bending so far over to appease some people and not giving any thought to the English people any more. It seems to be English is a dirty word and we are discriminated against at every turn. I feel the world is going mad, what do you think?

I have a friend who is barely out of Basic Training in the military. She is considering going AWOL. I am unsure of what her punishments could be. She is non-deployable at this time, and is still going through training. I think she just needs a break, she seems to be of mental instability. What actions could be taken against her?
