Camera's that only take 4 frames a second and can't even catch an airplane on tape. My local K-mart store has a better security and surveillance system than the Pentagon does. Is this the way Donald Rumsfield "wanted" it?

Those security cameras were never intended to capture a high-speed object. Neither are the ones at your local K-mart.
Security cameras/recorders operate at a low frame rate to allow storage of the images over a long time span. Higher frame rates mean much greater storage requirements for the data.
If you want to accuse Rumsfeld of something, provide the evidence that he ordered those particular cameras, perhaps to replace better, higher-speed cameras...

these cameras were not put in place by rumsfeld you screwball, they had been there for years. airplanes also move as exceptionally high rates of speed, too fast to clearly catch on most security cameras. have you ever seen a security camera picture on the news of someone robbing an ATM machine? those aren't exactly crytal clear images either.

I am unaware of this. You mean because the pentagon hasn't published the information? Did you know that eye-witnesses make better evidence than video-tape? Still true. And there were many eye-witnesses. One I know of is a user on this site.

Actually when I visited the pentagon recently the security was remarkably good.

This is a building FILLED with Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, MARINES, and Coast Guard personnel.
At least 50% of them are armed at all times.
How badly do you really want to break in and commit a crime there?
