With 68% of the people approving of legal abortion at least some of the time, under some circumstances, there will be no candidate saying beyond a doubt he will eliminate legal abortions. The Republicans might tell you anything you want to hear, but they don't deliver and to do so would alienated the majority of the electorate. He might even say hes against abortion personally, but its up to the legislature to write the laws and the will to have abortion criminalized isn't there. Its not the will of the people, and if you don't believe in it don't do it.

Duncan Hunter, Sam Brownback, Mitt Romney are really the only well-known Republican ones with Duncan Hunter by far being the best choice. There may be others but these are the main ones. I don't think there are currently any Democrats that respect life running for president.

Most Republic candidates are until they get elected. Then they are neither, pro-life or a candidate.

Brownback, Huckabee, Frist, and Romney.
But, then again, if you're voting for someone only on one issue, do the rest of us a favor and stay home on Election Day.
