Hi James,
bit of an awkward one this, but instead of going on about you should'nt break the law i will answer your question.
There is still a possibility that you could go on holiday,i assume you had planned the holiday before your tagging. You should have told the judge about your holiday as he would have made a ruling there and then.
If the holiday was planned in advanced you may be lucky and they will allow a suspension of your tag.
This would mean your tag being suspended during your holiday, and on return your tag removal date would be extended by the ammount of holiday you had.
But you will need to approach your probation officer and clarify the situation, the more severe your crime the less chance you will have of going on holiday.
If they say no then unfortunately you will have to cancel, sorry but thats what happens when you make mistakes.
And may i address a quick point whilst still with this question.
People ask and answer questions on this site to get an overall view of options the may have like James has.
And for the most the answers are honest opinions of peoples thoughts on the question at hand.
I direct this to Mike in particular who suggests that we are all "Muppets" and all our answers are not worth typing.
Well Mike from what i see clearly the people on here and myself are educated, something by your answer you clearly lack.

I have a feeling that you can't leave the country - but your local police will be able to tell you.
