First deployment husband had a "camp" and second one he didnt. I am sure he gave you the correct address as it was given to him, so rest assure it will find him. Mail has a way of making it to the soldier even if it takes a while. My husband moved around ALOT last deployment, but the mail always catches up. They know how important mail is to the soldiers, so they make sure they get it. Best to you!

The APO address includes a zip code that specifies the location of the unit. There is no need to have the "camp" name in the address. Plus it is more secure, not showing names being assigned to a specific camp.

Each unit is different. First deployment for my son there was 'no camp' this time there is a 'camp'
It just depends on which unit your soldier is attached to. As long as you get the Unit, Soldier name, and the APO then not a problem.
Hope this helps.

Send him something and see if he gets it. Most likely it will get there. Don't worry. Have fun with your deployment! Mine is almost half over!
