I am a little bit disturbed by the fact that I am always paranoid about someone seeing me write that I am against the war in Iraq. And that the Gov. will come and arrest me for my views on the war, and How it was mishandled by the Bush Administration. Most of you all probably think I should be shot. OH WELL??, but to those who don't want to shoot me for my outspokeness, do you sometimes feel this way???

There is little question in my mind that this site is indeed monitored by our government. In a way, its a good way for the government to get a feeling for what Americans think. Not that they really care given the reaction of our government to the last elections.

I don't think you should be too concerned about being arrested. Close to 60 percent of Americans are against the war. There are simply not enough prisons. I say feel free to speak your mind with the understanding that you are responsible for your actions. Take heart. This is America and chances are you wont be shot. However, there are no guarantees.

No, my conscience is clear and this may be your problem. Maybe you feel you are going overboard with it. I'm sure the government isn't watching you, I think people are making a big deal over this idea for nothing. I mean when you think about it do you realize the cost and time involved of watching every little person like us? Only if we are doing threats against the president or conspiring with the enemy.

Don't worry about it. If you are guilty of anything it is probably self aggrandizement.
The government is not even paying attention to you. You are allowed to have your own opinions and you have the right to free speech. That's what we get in exchange for our tacit support of the government: Our Freedom.

You should probably be more concerned about other things that may adversely affect you in your daily life like that increase in parking ticket fines.

No I don't feel the way you do. The government has the ability to monitor computers world wide. I just worry when the black unmarked helicopters circle around.

You have a right to feel however you want about the war, it's not illegal to be against it. Just keep in mind that soldiers protect your right to think that way. If our enemies had their way you'd be wearing a beard and be forced to worship their god.
