Schools should be a non political arena of learning! I think any teacher that uses their forum for political purposes should be fired!
But as the Teachers Union informed me, if this happened, because right wing teachers out number left wing 10 to 1- there would be no teachers left!
So......even though it is a good idea, it is misdirected (mostly right wing) and undoable!

I'm not a liberal, but what you propose isn't any different than book burning. Children will be exposed to all different viewpoints in their lives. They will decide for themself what is right and what is wrong.
It's important to teach your children as well. A child has the uncanny ability to be totally objective and make up their own minds on issues.

Teachers and Professors are supposed to teach facts, or if it is a class where opinions are relevant, let the kids have the opinions!

No they should not. Just as the press they are there to teach facts not opinions. But as parents the ultimate responsibility falls on your shoulders. Who's opinion should they trust? The parents of course.
