I'm not sure from what angle you're asking this question. I'm presuming you're referring to time between deployments, yes? If that's the case, then here's some info.
In the Air Force, all Airmen are provided at least 90 days between deployments, sometimes longer. The 90 days is primarily for Airmen returning from Korea and going to the States, so they can get any required training they'll need before they deploy to a combat zone. Is it enough? From Korea to the States, I believe so, considering Korea is in an Armistice. Hence, I believe the 90 days are sufficient between assignments.
For the Army and Marine ground-pounders, they should get about one-year (or more) between deployments, provided they have been in the combat zone for 12 months and getting shot at by the enemy. (I don't think being stationed at a military installation and being the Sexual Harrassment Advisor to the commander would meet the spirit and intent of our empathy here in this post).
As for the Naval crews, I don't understand their role in The War on Terrorism in the Middle East and Central Asia, so I can't comment on their situation.

Did the soldiers tell you that they never have full nights sleep. i would like to tell you that no soldiers do a 24 hour duty unless its a war. all have a 8-10 hrs work and then take sufficient rest and govt paid food and stay , even travel is funded by the govt. in addition to this they have a weekly holiday on sunday. even in any private company they never give so much of freedom to enjoy their time and relax at the company's expense. hence morethan 60 days leave is a serious matter to take into consideration.
the job of a soldier is to save the country and do his duty with utmost sincerety. why do we indians need to cribb regarding our job and vacation.

THIS IS COMING FROM A MAN CURRENTLY DEPLOYED. NO LEAVE SHOULDNT BE LONGER. THE TWO WEEKS WE GET IS LONG ENOUGH. IT WAS HARD ENOUGH LEAVING THE FAMILY THE FIRST TIME BUT IF WE GO HOME FOR SAY 60 DAYS PEOPLE WOULD COME BACK OUT OF SHAPE AND NOT BATTLE READY. IF THEY DO COME BACK. PLEASE REIMBER WE CHOSE TO BE HERE WHEN WE ROSE OUR RIGHT HANDS AND SAID THAT OATH BY CHOICE. NOBODY HAD A GUN TO THERE HEAD.
