Apparently, just what it says. You may not carry weapons nor ammo in a vehicle without special permit.

Now, it's surprising if you're living in the US, as many states allow more or less free transportation of weaponry.

That means that once gun owners smile, nod and agree about how reasonable that is, then the left will go a little farther and pass laws saying no gun nor ammo can be stored in a house, then no ammo at all, then no guns. Then we are totally defenseless against the hell that a bunch of alcohol soaked, blow hard, blue blooded losers in congress rain upon us in the future.

Look at our out-of-control Justice Dept. They lock up their own law enforcement officers and coddle convicted felon illegal immigrants, while they look the other way as senior official leak top secret national security information to the press. The last thing pinhead traitors like that need is for you to have a weapon ready.

If you have a felony on your record, this is the law. You can carry a gun and ammunition without a permit if you have a permit for a hand gun, long guns must be transported for sporting purposes. Consult your local ordinances.

Where are you? In NC you have to have you gun in plain sight (even loaded]. In SC you can have a loaded gun in you glove box, trunk, or a locked box. In GA you can have one in the glove box or in plain sight. GA is currently working on a law that will let you keep your gun any where you want in your car without a permit. I carry a gun any damn where I please. Anyone that tries to violate my right to bare arms will find themselves on the wrong end of one.

I don't know because it isn't true. You can carry an unloaded weapon in your car and buy bullets and have them in your car!

Youi can't carry a loaded or concealed weapon in your car!
