I think he'd be a great president. This country needs a breath of fresh air and honesty. I am horrified at the ignorance of some people that have posted answers here. I'm quite familiar with the LDS, and yes you can go to any meeting, there are no salamanders involved and if you think LDS candidates can't make it...think again...You are surrounded by plenty LDS in senate and house of representatives, not least of which is Harry Reid, the majority leader. The most responsible think is to see what each candidate has to offer and choose that which is best for us.

If Rudy does not make it, he'll do I suppose. The reason I am suspicious of the Mormon religion is that their services are so secretive. Unlike the other churches, outsiders cannot go to Mormon services. I can walk into a Catholic, Presbyterian or Baptist Church and witness the service. But I cannot witness a Mormon service, why?

It is hard to see how any Republican could win in 2008. The national demographics is changing, and it is unlikely that the Iraqi war will have been won by election time.
Hillary is a shred politician, has visited the troops, has barrels of campaign funds, the support of the movers and shakers in the Dems, and the news media will help her after she wins the primary. The hard left that dislikes her will have to fall in line, so great is their hatred for Reps.

Only if someone invents a messed up religion that worships a salamander sent from God that reveals sacred gold tablets to a prophet. Then the prophet reads those tablets to a scribe. But that scribe misplaces the readings and the prophet goes back and reads the tablets again to the scribe and this time the reading is different from the first reading.
I guess the prophet did not correctly recall his lies.
