Lets juts put things straight here. when President Fox (Mexican President) said on one of his interviews, "that not even blacks take the jobs that illegals take" I think what he said was true. I see a lot of people from different cultures (White, Black, Hispanics) who don't really want to work. So my point of view is that someone is willing to do it, why not let them without complaining so darn much. Nobody can take away something that is not yours in the first place.

In the first place Carlos R, I have never heard of any one attacking immigrants for taking their jobs. And you have not either, so that crock of BS is settled. As for as the uneducated and uncultured, that describes the Illegal Mexicans perfect. You use the term Immigrants, what you really meant was Illegal Mexicans. There is no Illegal Mexican or Immigrant (as you call it) that could do my job, so I disagree with you totally.

It is very wrong for people to attack Immigrants for taking their jobs. Immigrants are just as legally here as we are, they just weren't born here. They took their time, and took the necessary routes to attain citizen ship, and they are working.. all the better. More so than the certain lazy americans who sit on their fat *** all day on unemployment and welfare!! Haha... NOw if you talking about illegal immigrants, thats a different story. But since you didn't say illegal, I'm just going to assume the people who answered before are blind, and decided to interchange the word "immigrants" with "illegals"... B/c illegal immigrants have no right to take the jobs from citizens, but a lot of people just assume when they see a mexican he is an Illegal,... and thats not right. "innocent before proven guilty" as they say!

I think that most illegal immigrants are taking the jobs of people who are laborers, not lawyers. So poorer people are bound to be more upset. But I would say not uneducated or uncultured.
I don't think people are upset with immigrants as much as illegal immigrants. If you are paying taxes just like me, welcome to the USA. If you're not contibuting and are just taking, go home.

Mostly the jobs of the less educated are taken since most illegal immigrants are uneducated. However, I have never heard of any correlation to being 'uncultured.'

Those of us who aren't concerned for our jobs are concerned for our children's schools, which are being ruined by illegal immigration.

The education level and culture level has nothing to do with it. We are legal American citizens and ILLEGAL ALIENS should not be competing with US for jobs in the U.S.
You used the word "immigrants" but I am sure you don't mean immigrants, you mean illegal aliens.
Immigrants are in this country legally.

No, it's not true. I get furloughed every winter and have to search for a job, it's not as easy as it was 10 years ago. I can't work construction for 9 bucks an hour, c'mon. It wouldn't be hard to find a decent wage if it wasn't for all of the lowballing illegals.

No. That has nothing to do with it at all. They are not "attacking" them but simply revealing the facts regarding supply and demand within the economy, and the ulimate consequences of the problem.

Also, you have misused the word "immigrant." Illegals are not "immigrants" at all, but rather ILLEGALS (law-breakers)!

No, they are Americans that have had their jobs taken illegally. It's called stealing. Try that in Mexico. They'll lock you up. But Mexicans think it's OK to steal jobs and taxpayer services.
