I don't think she can duck it. Bill could play affable-dumb. Hillary is not affable. She will not be given the benefit of the doubt when accusations fly. I don't see her standing up to Obama, let alone a Republican nominee.

All of the baggage that was never proved will look like exactly what it is when it is thrown her way. Most of us voting remember the over eight years of the witch hunts against the Clintons, all the time and money wasted on investigations that never produced any real evidence, and many of the old stories - such as the one that Hillary and Bill ransacked the White House - have been debunked. It helps to check out rumors before treating them as fact. I think the biggest baggage Hillary has is the perception by some that she was weak for not leaving Bill. But that argument fails when it is noted that staying with your husband and working things out is generally considered more morally upstanding than divorce. I don't think her brother will come up too much, this is the first time I have heard him mentioned since she declared. But I'm sure that her campaign managers have all her ducks in a row and answers ready for all the mud-slinging to come. This isn't exactly their first go-around.

All that, AND the White Water scandal, Monica-Gate, the Lincoln Bedroom Tea Affair, her failed but reinvented Health Care Plan (Re-Dux), her book, "It Takes a Village," Flip-flopping, and demonstrated (lack of) family values, will come back to haunt her and de-rail her bid for the Presidency. Not to mention the very likely "Howard Dean like melt-down" that she will undoubtedly suffer in the media when these issues are re-activated & collide with political reality.

baggage apparently means nothing. If the worst Governor in the history of Texas can be elected and have a history of alcoholism and drug abuse into his 40's, anyone can get elected.

by the way. the Clintons didn't steal anything from the white house. that is a well known urban myth.....

Did she ever turn over all those thousands of FBI documents she had in the private quarters, but couldnt find when she was ordered by the court to turn in. Took a full year.

If any average American really thinks she gives a rat's *** about you, I have some land down in Louisiana to sell you.

She'll deal with it by focusing on the real issues.

You should try that some time.

Same as always. She will expect others to carry it for her. It is WAY beneath Hillary to carry her own bags.
