I'm from Ireland and came here with the intentions of staying three months but ended up meeting someone here and overstaying on the promise of sponsorship which fell through at the last min. I didn't research it and took someone on their word.
I am not here for a better life, Ireland is one of Europes richest countries and the money is not a factor.I'm not trying to take over your country and bleed it dry. The first thing I did when I stated work was obtain a TIN. I pay taxes,I pay ss and medicare even though I'm ineligible for either. My Girlfriend wants to get Married but I won't marry someone for a piece of paper on sheer principle.
Call me a Law breaker or Illegal or whatever, believe me when I say I won't lose any sleep over it.I'm not looking for opinions on my situation, I really don't care what people think.I'm looking for advise and direction. What are my options?I've met the person I want to be with forever but I still want to have the option of going home in case of emergen

Under the Castle Doctrine, you may presume any intruder into your home is there to do harm to you/your family and you can shoot them no questions asked.

Or, do you disagree with this common-sense legislation?

If murder is against the law and you can be sentenced to death then who holds the government accountable for taking the muderers life? Murder is to kill intentionally and with premeditation, so if the government intentionally takes anothers life then who holds them responsible? Would it not be better to just get rid of the death penaly altogether? personally i would rather have murderers spend every waking moment of their lives locked up thinking about how they lost their freedom.

Do you think that the war is over ,or do you think that this is just the quiet before the storm and the enemy is saving their strength for the Americans when they come.
Maybe they are waiting to see how the Senate voted ,and they are planning on hitting everything at once ,once the troops do get deployed over there.
You know Bush is going to get his way anyway with Executive privledge and him being Commander in Chief.
Things are too quiet over in Iraq right now..I wonder what is going on.
Is this just the quiet before the storm?

Many prisons are overcrowded, so the result is a revolving-door justice system. We need to lock criminals up and KEEP them there!

It doesn't have to cost alot. The Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona has built tent-jails that can house thousands of inmates at a fraction of the cost of traditional buildings.

Where can I find a complete list of professional licenses in Texas that a person with a deferred felony cannot obtain? I completed my deferred adjudication terms, but I know that there are some that I still can't get even though I wasn't convicted. By the way it was for poss. of controlled substance.

I, with constant support from friends and family, proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Why must I, now, while still recovering from illnesses aggravated in Iraq, be forced to struggle with the Code Enforcement Department of Amarillo,Tx?

As I receive treatment here in San Antonio,Tx. (BAMC), it seems no amount of explanation about my status will keep the Amarillo Texas City Code Enforcement Department (Howard@1-806-378-3006 or 1-806-378-4237) from issuing code violations against my home/property...my car was recently impounded! My mother-in-law, while stressed, is still doing all she can to hold down the "fort" until I am released.

Again, I have informed the Amarillo Texas City Code Enforcement Depart. many times of my Wounded Warrior status. I was told "not to worry" and "thank you guys for all you do for the country"... only to continue to receive other Violations/Search and Seizure Warrants.

Does the Soldier/Sailor Civil Relief Act apply to those on Med Hold Status?
