When the democrats won the election of 06 it restored checks and balance to the government. With the senate repuglicans successfully blocking the measure to reprimand the president it is all checks and balance. However there is an election coming up in 08 and the American people will remember those repuglicans that voted against and hopefully democracy will be done and they will be removed from office. An over whelming majority of the American people do not want the war in Iraq to drag on any longer and I think they will speak up with their votes in 08.

Exactly what lesson are they teaching?
The Senate has stopped the use of "non-binding resolutions" in it's tracks. If failed.
Time will tell whether the PEOPLE will teach Congress a lesson in democracy because of this juvenile stunt by the House democrats and fake republicans.

LOL....Hell no I am not happy. So, the Democrats disagree with GWB. Wow, what a shock. The Congress has squandered countless resources and millions in our tax dollars to tell us what we already knew. How redundant. Why couldn't the Democrats spend that time to device a strategy to end this war? The Democrats keep telling us that we should end the war, but not a one has showed a detailed plan in how to do that. I am so sick and tired of the name calling and rock throwing. The only ones who suffer are the troops. It pisses me off when I keep hearing, "I support the troops, but not the war." Well, what the heck do you think the troops are doing? Playing paddy-cakes? They are fighting a war. So if you support them, then you support their missions, and you support their actions. Or am I missing something?

When I go to teach Bush or others, I see, a lot of my own people behind me are trying to take the dagger. Don't try to teach anybody any lesson. There are other people for it.
