college will never work out for me ( was one of the most highest achieving students in high school, got ADHD and just cannot get the help I need) The only plausible way I can do it it is reduced workload and no college will do it. I really want to make something of myself and i refuse to kiss societies butt to do it. Iam looking at the military but i refuse to do enlisted ( I do that and Iam letting the college board have an impact on my life and I choose death over that by all means literally) Iam looking into ROTC and such. Is there anyway I can receive appropriate help for me being able to function in the school enviorment? My problem is that iam slow at reading and school work and test taking and it will never get better. If I was allowed extra time and a reasonably reduced workload (assignment wise cause i need time to do my assignments with my full timeframe) I can do it. I will give 110% to anything and the college here will not help. Can the military help me in this matter?

People continuously point to other countries that have national healthcare systems like Canada and wonder why the USA can't follow suit. Everyone of the countries that support a healthcare system has simply a butter economy. They don't have to support a large military.
Since the end of WWII, the USA has had to maintain a guns and butter economy. The fall of the USSR, which tried to have a socialistic guns and butter economy, rasies questions as to the practicality of attempting a national healthcare system in the USA.
Does our position as a military leader in the world make national healthcare unobtainable?

How are you going to say liberals are terrorists or friends with the terrorists. You hear an idea you don´t like, you can´t think of anything, so you get mad and blame them for being terrorists. Trust me, if they were terrorists they would be in Guantanamo, or somewhere under protection. How can you be so dumb to say such a thing???

Most of the qualities I see conservatives attribute to liberals are untrue, unfounded and often really strange. Are conservatives afraid to debate issues here in reality? They say we bow to islam. We are communists. We want to blow all the money. We don't support the troops. We want america to fail. That we want to stop support for the veterans. That were weak.
Don't you realize none of this is true. Liberals and conservatives are both people who want whats best for the country. They just have different ways of trying to get there. Obviously from the way things have gotten over the last couple of years the conservatives have been making a lot of mistakes and it's time to give the other side a try. If you think they can do worse you really have to be deluded. Eventually the liberals will start messing up and the conservatives will get their chance again. That's how it works. The back and forth motion of power keeps our democracy from ever going too far into the crapper!

It seems, at times, that the far left embraces an ideology that has little room for any other points of view. I have read, and heard many hostile, if not hatful and demeaning opinions voiced by the far left of others who question their view, a view in my opinion, that on occasion, picks and chooses facts that only support one view. Is that healthy for the development of fresh ideas?

Cult film from 1966. But the Good, played by Clint Eastward was no goody, He de frauded the US government of bounty money, assisted the escape of convicted murderers on numerous occasions, murdered umpteen baddies, impersonated a soldier, and in the end stole US army payrole gold. Without declaring it.
So why is the naughty character so loved by the public? and why was the film such a big hit in its day? does the film Glorify Crime?

I'm a fairly decent guy, who made one mistake - a DUI (1 beer + 1 week before my 21st birthday + busted taillight getting me pulled over = me bent over the DA's desk). I have been trying to piece my life back together, since the great state of Calf***meover has seen fit to tear it apart over this mistake.
I have my licenses to transact life insurance and property & casualty insurance, and these licenses were difficult and expensive to come by, and also required the DOJ to do a background check which determined that my DUI had nothing to do with dishonesty, so its not a problem.
Except that it IS a problem. Because nobody will hire me, since I have a record (the conviction is more than a year old, even).
My question is, does anyone out there know if there is something I can do to survive these background checks? I haven't had a job for two months, and I don't qualify for welfare (I'm not a minority person, even though whites are the minority here).
I really need some advice. Thanks.

The ANC has been an utter disaster for South Africa. All you hear about there is how the entire country is failing under black rule.

Should the ANC just admit they are incompetent to rule, and, with the proviso that Apartheid not be reimplemented, let the white minority take control of the country so it can be prosperous again?
