Well there are Russian made weapons (AK-47s) used all over the place, does the US want to invade them? There are American made weapons in Iraq, used by the insurgents. Maybe the US should invade themselves. So what, Iran has a large arms manufacturing trade, it's not surprising considering how isolated they are. THAT is not evidence that Iran is supplying the insurgency, just that the insurgents can go to an Iranian arms dealer and buy stuff.

Not without a *lot* more proof than we have--Bush himself said, day before yesterday, that we don't know if the gov't of Iran knows about the weapons or if they don't; they've been tracked to the Quds Force, not to the leaders.

Not to mention, it would also mean we're going against Iran's ally, Russia. And for what? We're pretty safe on this side of the globe, and our bigger job should be seeking out terrorst nests, not attacking every country that has ever had terrorists in it.

The illegal arms market is such that Taliban forces are using AMERICAN-made weapons against American soldiers.

No. We should just shoot on capture any Iranian in Iraq caught while aiding the insurgents, or with weapons in hand. They are there to kill American troops and innocent Iraqi civilians and the only way to stop them is to kill them, but on Iraqi soil so it can be proven they were up to no good.

Going into Iran is not the answer, but showing the world what they are doing definitely is.

Of course not. The U.S. should get their bully forces out of all foreign countries, dismantle the war machine and concentrate on the problems on their own soil. Enough already!
